Ch.46

        I come out of the bathroom and close the door quietly wearing my favorite shirt, blue jeans, and my boots. No one is up, so that's a good sign that my little alteration with myself didn't disturb them. Looking over, I see Garnet struggle to get more comfy, but with Steven on her in that little chair, nope that ain't happening. I need to make them more comfy, so I decide, I'll put them in my bed., but how am I going too without waking them up?
        An idea suddenly pops into my head or more like someone. I think about a clone of me and I think of my determined emotion, then suddenly a clone of me appears and I motion him/her to be quiet. Then I point to Garnet and Steven, then I point to the bed and he/she simply nods. My clone picks up the sleeping Steven and I pick Garnet up. I move the covers with my free hand and I lay Garnet down, while Determined lays Steven beside her. I nod in thanks and he/she nods in response, then I snap my fingers. I think I'm going to like my new power.
         While everyone else sleeps, I grab a magazine from the counter at the sink and I sit on the window pane and start reading.
               ~Two hours later~
     Two hours have passed and the Sun has came up, but that's the only thing that's up. I hear Garnet moan and I see her flip over on the bed. It shouldn't be long until she gets up. I close the magazine I'm reading and I swing my legs over the window pane and get up. I pop every bone that I can and I head over to sit in the empty chair by my bed.
         As I rest my head in my hands on my knees, I hear a yawn come from Pearl's and Lapis's direction. I look up to see Lapis waking up. She flutters her eyes and looks in my direction, "Y/n?" I put a finger to my lips to tell her to be quiet, then I walk over to her and pull her to the door gently.
        "Y/n! You're awake!" She whisper yells and hugs me. "Yeah and I'm thirsty, wanna go get something?" "I'd love to." We carefully leave the room and shut the door quietly. We walk down the halls to the vending machine room and Lapis explains how I was in a coma for three days. "Three days!" I whisper yell as I pour my coffee and take a sip. "Yeah, you really scared us because you plummeted to the ocean and didn't wake up until now." "Man." I grab some extra food and drinks and we head back to my room.
        Good thing there's only a few nurses on watch and they're no where in sight, so we can head back to my room without them freaking out that I'm out of bed. "So how do you like the coffee?" I ask Lapis because its her first time trying it. "Its really hot, but good." "Good." I say as I hold my door open for her with my foot, but when we get inside, we see everyone freaking out.
        Garnet is holding up the bed with one hand and is gripping her hair with the other as Steven looks under the bed. Peridot is screaming and pacing around the room, until Amethyst grabs her and starts slapping her while saying "Pull yourself together!" And Pearl, well, she's squawking around like that bird who's cuckoo for cocoa puffs.
        I slowly close the door and that gets everyone's attention, "Umm, hi." "Y/n! Lapis!" Both Lapis and I get swarmed with a family hug. "Can't... Breathe... Need... Air..." They release us and I can finally breathe again. "Y/n! You're back!" Steven hugs my leg, "Yeah, and I brought food." "Food!" Amethyst snatches the food out of my hands. I roll my eyes, "Its nice to see you too Ame." "Hey, I hugged you and I waited for you to wake up, so be nice." "Thanks Ame, I love and missed y'all too- Oof!" Garnet tackles me with a kiss, but I hold my stance. I wrap my arms around her waist and deepen the embrace.
       "Love, you're back!" She has tears streaming down her cheeks. "Man, if this is my greeting coming back from getting coffee, I'll go out more often." I smile and she just snickers, "I love you." "I love you too Garnet." I kiss her again, but its short lived when we hear Pearl cough. Pearl comes up to me and hugs me with a smile, "Welcome back y/n. We're all so happy that you're awake." "Yeah and we're happy that you brought this thing you call coffee too." I hear Peridot and I look over to see that she's drunk all the coffee, even mine. Oh boy, Peridot plus coffee, this should be fun.
   ~A few caffeinated minutes later~
        Garnet made me get back into bed after all the welcome backs and the persuasion of doing it to get better. She plugged me back up and stuck that dreadful needle back in me. Yeah that wasn't fun, but afterwards, she snuggled up to me and we got to see a hyped up Peridot act out the battle between us and my father.
         She started screaming and doing a motion like someone shooting a machine gun at the ground. I guess she's describing when I fired pieces of boulders at my father. We all shared a laugh as she ended the scene dramatically and we applaud. "Wow Peri, you really can put on a show." I compliment her. "Thanks y/n, but it would've ended better if I knew what happened up there between you two." I get a sudden flashback of my father disintegrating into space, but I shake my head at the thought.
         "Are you okay love?" I nod, "Yeah, I'm fine. But how about y'all? Did he hurt y'all?" They all shake their head no and I sigh in relief. "Good, because if he did, I would find a way to bring him back to life and kill him again!-" Oops... That didn't mean to come out yet. "You killed him?" A doodling Steven looks up from coloring and asks. I sigh, "I had to do what I had too. He killed me. He killed Igor." They all gasp and I lean my head back on the pillow. "He killed Igor?!" They all shout, "Shh! Keep it down guys!" I whisper yell. "Who's Igor?" Peridot asks for her and Lapis, I sigh, "He was a great friend of mine." "Oh, sorry y/n." "Its fine, y'all didn't know."
        The room falls silent for a moment, until I say something that cocks their interest, "But my father did leave me something." I smirk. "What is it y/n?" A curious Pearl asks. "I'll show you... Quick Steven name an emotion." He holds his chin and thinks about it for a second, "Um, surprised!"  "Alright." I smirk, then I think of a surprised clone of me.
          My clone pops out from my right and I think everyone looses it. "Gasp." My clone holds a hand over their heart, "Its finally great to meet you all." Everyone pops up from their positions, "Bruh, what is that thing?!" My clone gasps again, "Excuse me Amethyst, but this thing has a name. And its name is Surprised." All of their mouths drop.
