                    ~Garnet's POV~
       "Where is he/she? Why didn't he/she wake us up and tell us where he/she was going?!" Ruby calm down, he/she probably just wanted us to rest because of the fun night we had. "Calm down?! The Sun is out and he/she's not in the temple!" "Ruby, he/she is safe with Steven. Pearl told us that he bought him/her a giant umbrella." Just breathe. I don't feel like unfusing.
          Sitting on the couch, I try to keep myself stable. "Yo, what up G? How was your 'rest' with y/n?" She playfully elbows me in the ribs, "It was perfect." "I bet, I heard you screaming his/her name all morning." I blush, "You did? How?" She pats the wall behind us, "Well these walls aren't the best of soundproofing. Plus... Y/n's room is right above mine so..." Oh gosh, I hope Steven didn't hear us. How would I explain why I was screaming?
           "Don't worry, Pearl took Steven out for a walk so he wouldn't hear y'all." She must've noticed my nervousness, so she calmed me. "Thanks for the info." "No problem G. Now if you'd excuse me, I'm going to go stretch. Steven, Pearl, y/n and I are going to go practice when it gets dark." Wait, what? "Amethyst, what do you mean y/n is going to practice tonight?" "Oh, he/she didn't tell you? Well, this is awkward..." She rubs the back of her neck, "We're going to practice with our weapons, since y/n has never showed us his/her weapon, he/she thought this was a good time to show us his/her moves. I guess he/she wanted to surprise you by asking you to come. My bad. But hey, I'll talk to you later G."
              She goes back into her room and Steven and y/n comes in as soon as she does. Y/n comes over to me and kisses me, but I don't push my lips to his/her's. "Hey love, how did you sleep?" He/she asks genuinely curious and sweetly. Ahh, if only he/she knew he/she was in trouble. I stand up, "I slept well thank you for asking." He/ she kisses me again, "Good."
                       ~Y/n's POV~
      Garnet doesn't seem quite pleased to see me, I wonder what's wrong. "Hey Steven, why don't you go get Connie and we can all hang out?" I try my best to make him leave the room, so Garnet and I can have a talk. Without another word, he simply says okay and calls for Lion. "Come on Lion, let's go get Connie." His pink lion yawns and procrastinates to get off his bed, but eventually does as he's told and they leave.
          Whenever he leaves, its only Garnet and I. Pearl is MIA, but I guess she went shopping to get more food for dinner tonight. "What's a matter love? I can tell you're mad at something." And its not just because I can read her mind, well minds. Her emotionless facial expression says it all. I try not to listen to anyone's thoughts, but sometimes I just can't help it.
          She places a hand on my arm and makes me sit on the couch. "Y/n honey." Oh boy this ain't going to be good. Every time my father always started out sweet like that, I knew I was going to get beaten. I clutch the couch and gulp, "Y-Yes d-d-dear?" She sits down next to me and I tense up. "Why didn't you tell me that you were going to practice with your weapon tonight?"
       My taste buds so numb in my mouth and I feel scared, "It- It was going to be a surprise. I-I didn't have the chance to tell you b-because it was a last minute call, literally. Steven called Amethyst when you was sleeping I assume and asked if her and Pearl wanted to practice battle strategies tonight. I-I was going to ask you when I knew you was up I promise I was."
           "Mmm. Why didn't you wake me up?" "B-because you looked so beautiful and at peace, I didn't want to disturb you." Come on l/n! Quit stuttering, you're like a dying fish out there! I can see her shoulders visibly relax and she climbs over and sits on my waist. She rubs her hand down my chest, but eventually leaves her hand over my gem. "I would've woken up for you." She kisses me softly and I can tell that she forgives me. "But you need your rest, even though you say that you don't need it." I trace the outline of her hips and kiss her sweet spot. She moans lightly, "Quit being a tease..." "Okay, I will for now, but I'm going to mark my territory." She looks at me slightly confused, until I bite and leave her a hickey on her sweet spot. "I'll be back for that later." I give it a light kiss and she just giggles. I can tell that's Sapphire coming out.
             "We're back!" Garnet quickly gets off me and we act 'normal'. My adrenaline is going bonkers as I try to act like nothing happened. "Hey guys, are y'all ready for tonight?" Connie asks. "Yep," Garnet replies for us, "but first we have to eat. We're having steaks tonight." Steven and Connie are happy that we're having steaks, but the only thing I want tonight is Garnet.
