Ch. 52

                    ~Steven's POV~
                ~Warning Spoilers~
        After calming down Sapphire and explaining everything, Pearl, Sapphire and I all warp back to the temple. "Ruby! Y/n! I'm so sorry! Where-" Ruby and y/n is no where in sight, but there's a note on the floor and it says 'Sapphire'.
        Sapphire picks up the letter and starts to read it out loud. "Sapphire, you were right. I need some time to think, so I am running away. - Ruby. This can’t be happening." She pauses a second, "Y/n?! Love are you still here?!" No one answers. Sapphire then starts to cry due to Ruby and y/n running away. "Oh Ruby, Y/n, I'm so sorry. You ran away before I could take back all the horrible things I said to you all."
        Pearl then takes the letter from Sapphire's hand and starts reading it. "Well, Amethyst was with them, right? Maybe she knows they went." We all look to Amethyst, "Amethyst, have you seen Ruby or y/n?" I ask. "Yeah, I've seen them. Huh, Ruby asked me for a pen and paper a while ago. Why?" "Because, they ran away. Did you see where they went?" Pearl asks, and Amethyst huffs. "I don't know. Maybe they'll come back. It's not my job to babysit them. Hey, Steven! Get over here, I need a player two!" "Hold on a second, Amethyst. Do you see them coming back in your Future Vision, Sapphire?"
        She gasps and puts a little hopeful smile on her face, "Oh? Oh! Maybe! But... They're both so wonderful... and spontaneous! I have no idea what they could... Why would Ruby be a cowboy?! And why would y/n be drinking?!" Sapphire then hugs Pearl's legs and begins to sob uncontrollably. Pearl pats her head, then kneels down to her height and hold her hands.
         "There, there. It's going to be okay. They're going to come back! They got to come back! If they don't then... then, there would be no more Garnet. And... what on Earth would we do without Garnet? What would we do without y/n? What would we do without our power couple?" "Oh, Pearl! How will I ever get them back?!" Pearl hugs Sapphire tightly and they both start sobbing uncontrollably. "I... I don't know! You all are incredible together! It can't be over! It can't be over!"
           "Why don’t you two take all of this into the Temple? Ugh, Steven and I are going to play some video games." Amethyst complains from my bed. "No, no, it’s ok! Don’t worry Sapphire, I’m gonna go out and find them." "What?" Amethyst questions my judgment, "I'll be right back with them in no time." I rush out of the house while they continue to sob, then I hear Amethyst yell for me to wait up.
                       ~Y/n's POV~
         After I read Ruby's note, I ran out of the house. Ruby said that she needed space and I know that Sapphire needed hers too. So to let them figure stuff out, if they even do, I went to the liquor store and bought me some vodka with my vampire powers, then I went to space. I decide to go to the dark side of the Moon, and to my surprise I see the barn there. "Lapis?" When I walk up to the barn, I see Lapis sitting in the truck. "Lapis!" She looks down at me and she's shocked. "Y/n?!" "In the flesh." I let my hands present my body to her. She launches herself at me and we end up in a tight embrace in a crater.
        "Y/n! What are you doing here?!" "Garnet split up, and it doesn't look good." I say as I look back to Earth, trying to hide a stray tear. "I'm so sorry to hear that y/n. You're welcome to stay here, if you'd like." I smile, "Thanks Lapis." "No problem. Do you want to go to the Moon base to talk about it?" She points to a metal building, "Yeah, I'd like that."
