"So your mom talked to me the other day... And your 20th is soon. And you're getting crowned in a few years. And she and your dad want you to get married. And how.." He stopped you, knowing you could ramble forever if you could. "Oh, so you know?" "What?" You were confused. "About Katerina? The girl who I'm gonna marry?" Marry? Calum was going to marry someone? Who was Katerina and why did you suddenly feel like your heart had been ripped to shreds.

How did Calum still have this hold over you? It had been years, yet he still held your heart. "Yeah, congrats Cal, I hope she's a great girl." If he was gonna marry someone you didn't want to stand in the way. Maybe she was a great girl, you didn't know, you didn't want to know. You knew it was selfish but you thought maybe, if you remained thinking she was a terrible person, then it wouldn't hurt as much. "Yeah me too, she seems to really like me I guess." Something seemed off about him, you knew Calum, and you knew there was something wrong. But all you wanted to do was go back to your room and cry. So that is what you did, after telling him you had to go prepare the desserts for the dinner tonight. It wasn't a special occasion, but his sister was visiting from school and her favorite food was an apple pie, so that is what you were going to make. When you got back to the bakery, your mother was there. You told her everything that happened, from the Queen coming in to Calum telling you about the girl he was to marry. She could tell you were hurting and didn't know what to do. She honestly thought you two were going to get married. She even told you that Queen Joy said Calum seemed optimistic when she mentioned you bring his bride. Now, you were even more confused. Why would Calum tell you he was marrying someone else when he was happy that his mother mentioned you maybe being his wife. All you wanted was answers, so you went to find them. When you barged into Calum's room this isn't what you expected to find. You didn't expect to find Calum laying on his bed, shirtless. And you surely didn't expect a half naked girl, who you assumed was Katerina, to be sitting on top of him. "EXCUSE ME. DO YOU KNOCK?" She screamed as she glared at you. "I am so sorry, I wasn't thinking when I opened the door, I just needed to speak to his royal highness for a second. I'm sorry I'll go now." You apologized profusely. You couldn't believe what had just happened. Did he really not care about you? What was happening? Why was this happening to you. Before Calum even had the chance to get up you were gone. Running back to your room, locking the door when you got there. 

Calum felt terrible. He didn't want to hurt you, he loved you. But, he had to marry Katerina, she was pregnant with his baby after all.
