Whatever happened, happened. I'm keeping it Calum, and if you don't want a scandal I suggest you figure out what we're doing." He knew what she meant, they had to get married, to the elders of the kingdom, it was frowned upon to have a child out of wedlock and if the prince were to do it there would be chaos.

"Mali, you know how they are, I can't not marry her. Everybody would have a fit." Calum was sitting on his sister's bed. He always went to her when he needed someone to talk to, she was really understanding and wouldn't judge him too much. "Cal, this was stupid. You know it was stupid. You're so hung up over (Y/N) that you weren't thinking. You know I love you, and I'll stand by you no matter what you decide to do; but this is your decision." She reasoned, she was always good at getting him to talk, knowing what to say and what to ask in order for him to figure out an outcome. "I know, I just saw her talking to some other guy and got really jealous. It didn't matter that I hadn't talked to her in a while, she just has this effect over me that I can't shake off." He buried his face in his hands, still unsure of what to do. He loved you, honestly, he was in love with you. But Katerina. Katerina was pregnant with his baby and he had to take responsibility. "Cal I think you gotta talk to mom or dad with this. I can't tell you what to do this time. I'm sorry" She pulled him into a hug. She was right, he had to tell his parents, he couldn't just avoid the situation and hope it went away because the longer he waited the more trouble he would get into. "Yeah, thanks Mali. You really did help me."

He left, heading towards his room when he heard it. "CALUM THOMAS HOOD GET IN YOUR FATHERS OFFICE NOW." He froze, that was his mom. Oh no, he knew she knew, he didn't know how she could but he knew she did. "NOW CALUM." He slowly turned around, finding his mother, jaw clenched, and hands making fists. Shit.

"Yes?" He entered seeing his father sitting behind his desk and his mother standing next to him holding a newspaper. "Do you know why you're in here?" This is what it must feel like to get sent to the principals office at school. His mother was still looking at him, waiting for his answer but what was he going to say, 'I think? I got someone pregnant and now you're going to yell at me?' No he was going to play this out as long as he could. "No" Yeah that worked. He's soooo not going to get in trouble now. "Hmm, let me help you jot your memory, does someone named Katerina bring something to mind?" Sometimes he was happy his mother was sarcastic like him, this was not one of those times. "Look mom, I was planning to tell you, I swea–" she cut him off "WHEN? When she had the baby and you couldn't hide it anymore?" He was really sorry, honestly, he just wanted to think it out first, know his options before doing something that could change everything drastically. "You two are getting married before she starts showing." That was his dad now. "What? No. Don't I get a say in this. People have kids without getting married all the time, why do I have to marry her. I don't love her." he was angry now. If he married Katerina there was no way he could marry you. "It doesn't matter Calum. She has already talked to the newspapers. It's happening whether you like it or not." said his mother "We've also invited her to stay in the palace. She's staying in your guest room so go move your instruments into another room, she'll be here in a few hours. You're dismissed." He couldn't believe this his father had just 'dismissed' him, he hadn't been 'dismissed' since he was 7 and he used to throw tantrums. He was being forced into a marriage he didn't want to a girl he didn't want to marry, while the girl he did want to marry didn't even know.
