"Hey Cal I thought the king had people to do this for him." he never thought he'd hear that voice again. "Katerina, it's been a while." He turned to her. "Yeah, like 5 years since... you know.... What are you even doing here?" She said with a smirk and looked him up and down. "I'm just picking up some things for (Y/N)." He sighed, grabbing a vanilla tub of ice cream along with his favorite, double chocolate chip from the refrigerator. "Oh. How is (Y/N) anyway?" He could hear the disgust in her voice. "(Y/N) is great. We got married 4 years ago." He still couldn't stand her, he couldn't believe at one point she was supposed to be his wife. "No kids yet?" she asked. "We have one on the way." He laughed thinking about you and your giant stomach hobbling around the palace. "I got married too you know." she blurted. "Thats wonderful Kat, I wish you the best." He replied as he left towards the check out.

"Calum you know you're not supposed to go to the market by yourself." You scolded as he came through the palace doors. "Sorry mom I just figured, you know, the 25 year old king could go to the store by himself." He replied sarcastically before adding, "Hey, you're not supposed to be on your feet." and handing you the tub of ice cream. "Whoops, I'll let it slide this time, but only because you brought back ice cream for me." You pecked him on the cheek and went off to your bedroom. "And stop walking around! You're supposed to be on bedrest!" he called after you. After putting away the groceries and sneaking an apple to Shadow he went to your bedroom. "Why are you still on your feet, you're about to pop any second and I'm worried our child to fall out of you." He sat on the bed. "The baby isn't going to just fall out, Cal." You laughed when you felt something happen. "Did your water just break" His eyes widened in shock. "Yep, good thing the palace had it's own doctor." You laughed as Calum started freaking out. "Okay. We need to gather all the stuff you need, new clothes, phones, jacket, a bo–" He was pacing and listing things before you cut him off. "Calum we literally are 3 minutes away, just get me to there. You can bring the stuff after." You said getting into the wheelchair that was located in front of the door for this exact reason.

13 hours. You were in labor for 13 long, painful hours, and you were tired."Do you know what you want to name him?" the doctor asked. "Yeah, we picked Alexander." Calum replied signing the certificate. When you got to your room, they had brought Alex, and portable crib to your room. They handed him to you and as Calum brought in all of the stuff you'd need to until you could go back to your daily life. "Do you want to hold him?" you asked looking towards your husband who looked terrified. "I don't want to break him" he replied before you placed the newborn in his arms. "He's so small. Wow baby we had a baby." he cooed looking at your newborn son in his arms. "Yeah Cal, we did." You replied before his family started coming in to meet the new edition to the family.
