And with that the car arrived in front to take you back to the palace. "Bye Martha, we'll come back soon. I've missed your cooking." He shouted as you two left. Luke spent a lot of time at this diner when he was younger, and it was nice to share something that meant so much to him, to someone else.

"Thank you again Luke." You two were holding hands as you entered the palace. "You know I was thinking—" "That can't be good" you cut him off. "Shut up" he laughed "back to me thinking, I don't want you to work in the palace anymore. Not because I don't want you to work here but because I want to be able to take you out and you not have to worry about being seen at an event you're supposed to be working at." Was he serious? "Luke where am I supposed to go? My mum works here, and she's my only family. I don't have anywhere else." You replied looking at him. "You can stay here. Your mum can work here if she wants, but she doesn't have to. I know you want to go to university, and now you can since you don't have to work. You and your mum can live in the palace as guests." Luke knew you wanted to go to school. He knew you didn't want to work in the palace all your life, and he was giving you an out. "What if your parents don't like that? What if they don't want us living here?" You countered, surely they wouldn't enjoy keeping old employees staying in a place where they didn't work anymore. "My mum was the one who suggested it. She wants the best for you. I want the best for you. Please just think about it." You could go to school, you could do what you really wanted to do. Did you really want to go though? You'd been here your entire life. Your whole life was this palace.

That night you talked to your mum, she was so happy that you got the opportunities she didn't and wanted you to go. She, like Luke and the queen, wanted the best for you so you decided. You were going to go to school and live at the palace. When you found Luke and told him your decision, he was ecstatic. That night he helped you move your things into one of the guest bedrooms near his, your mum was staying in the old corridor where she could be close to her work, she wanted to stay and work at the palace since she loved the people she worked with. Luke helped you enroll at the kingdom's university and decided that night that he wanted to enroll too. He told his parents that going to school would help him when he was ruling since he should experience life as close to a young adult as he could. Surprisingly they agreed, and he was set. Classes were set to start the next month so you two decided to spend the summer traveling across the world, getting in all you could.
