Check up

Kol's pov

Me and Davina are heading out to see Vincent so he can do a check up on the baby and see if everything's okay and to find out exactly how far along Davina is in her pregnancy. I had called him up on the phone and told him me and Davina wanted to meet with him about something important and we told him we'd meet him at his house instead of at the church or Rousseau's. We're also bringing the boys along as we don't want to leave them alone with my siblings especially while Nik's in a pissy mood about her pregnancy and also we plan on telling the boys on the way there even though Jace already knows Davina's pregnant but we're not sure if Zander knows or not so we're just going to tell them. 

"Okay I'm ready to go" Davina says as she emerges from the bathroom wearing a blue tank top, a white see through sweater, black leggings and black sneakers. She puts on a jacket and slings her bag across her shoulder "ready to find out how our baby's doing and how many weeks pregnant you are?" I ask she smiles "yes lets do this" she says I take her hand in mine and we leave the room. "Rebekah are the boys ready?" I ask as we walk down the stairs, I asked Rebekah to get the boys ready to go out. "Yes they're all ready to go" she replies I smile as I see my sons waiting by the entrance of the compound with Rebekah. "Mommy, daddy where are we going?" Zander asks slipping his hand in mine while he holds his brothers hand as Davina holds Jace's hand. Zander and Jace are in between us we like to keep them close to us like that when we go out "we're going to see a friend of mommy's to check on someone" I reply as we walk out the compound "check on who daddy?" Zander asks curiously "someone who will be joining our family in a few months time" I reply with a smile on my face. "Who's joining the family?" he asks I chuckle at his curiousness "someone very special" Davina answers I send her a smile which she returns with a twinkle in her beautiful blue eyes.

We arrive at Vincent's house and Davina knocks on the door which opens a few seconds later revealing Vincent "hello. You got here a little early than I expected" he says opening the door wide to let us in "is it a problem that we're early?" Davina asks as we enter the house "not at all" he replies shutting the door. "Just head into the living room and I'll be right with you" he instructs we head to the living room and take a seat on the couch except for Zander and Jace who just sit on the floor with their little back packs they brought with them. Davina always has two bags packed with toys and colouring books for when we go out as the boys get bored easily and if they get bored and there's nothing to do, they become restless and disruptive. Vincent enters the living room with a tray "tea or coffee?" he asks "I can't have coffee so I'll have a tea" Davina replies Vincent nods and pours her a tea before handing her the tea cup. "What about you Kol?" he asks looking at me "I'll have a tea" I say I'd have a coffee but I know it makes Davina nauseous because of her sensitive smell due to her pregnancy hormones. Vincent pours me a tea and hands me the cup of tea. "Now I have juice for the boys. I believe you said they liked apple juice" he says holding up two apple juice cartons "apple juice!" the boys cheer making the three of us laugh as they take the juice cartons from Vincent and rip into the drink once they've stuck the straw in the little hole. "Boys what do you say to Vincent" Davina says looking down at them giving them both a look "thank you Vinny" they say making us chuckle. "Vinny? That's new" Vincent says with a little smile before clapping his hands and clearing his throat. "Anyway you're here to talk to me about something important. Is it about Morgana and the Folklore coven?" he asks we shake our heads "no. These last few weeks I've been feeling a bit funny and recently these last few days I've been sick and feeling nauseous at certain smells and I've had a few mood swings. Today we found out that I'm pregnant" Davina explains Vincent's eyes widen "you're pregnant again?" he asks she nods "yes and we came to you because we're not exactly sure how far along I am and we also want to check if the baby's okay even though Kol can hear the baby's heartbeat" she explains Vincent nods "okay I can do that. I'm just surprised that Kol got you pregnant a second time. Sure the first time makes sense since his body was getting back to normal after you resurrected him when you did the deed but a second time that's surprising" he replies "nature and the universe work in mysterious ways" I reply gently slinging an arm around Davina's shoulder. Vincent smiles in response "well congratulations on the pregnancy I suppose. I'll go and get a couple of things and I'll check how your baby's doing and I'll find out how far along you are" he says "thank you" Davina replies he gives her a small smile before leaving the living room to get the stuff he needs to check Davina and the baby. I look down when I feel a hand tug at my pants "what is it Zander?" I ask as he stands up "Vinny mentioned a baby. What baby daddy?" he asks "the baby inside your mommy's tummy" I reply he looks at Davina who gives him a smile. "Mommy's having a baby?" he asks his eyes lighting up "yes that's right she is" I reply he smiles and places his hand on Davina's stomach. "I feel a bump" he says before tapping his brother on the shoulder to get his attention. "Jace, Jace mommy's having a baby" he says excitedly Jace stands up with a smile on his face "I know" he replies Zander frowns "you knew?" he asks folding his arms "maybe" Jace replies rocking back on forth on his feet as he looks anywhere but at his brother, avoiding his brother's stare making me chuckle.
