Next day...

Kol's pov

Me and Davina wake up the next day and prepare to take the boys out since Davina and the twins are new to this town and I was born here and briefly lived here several months before me and Davina met when I was resurrected. I've decided to give my girl and my sons a good tour of Mystic falls and I'm hoping and praying we won't bump into any old enemies even though Davina is placing a spell on me that disguises me so nobody can actually see what I really look like except for Davina and our sons. "The boys are up. I'll get them sorted you make breakfast" I say giving Davina a quick kiss before heading to the boys bedroom to get them dressed.

I open their bedroom door and enter the room "good morning boys" I say happily as I see my sons sat up in bed "good morning daddy" they respond climbing out of bed and running over to me. I chuckle as they hug my legs since they don't quite reach my waist "come on let's get you two dressed" I say they whine "aww do we have too daddy?" Zander asks "yes we're going out today and mommy's making breakfast for us" I reply "where are we going daddy?" Jace asks "well you will just have to wait and see my son" I reply running a hand through his hair. I clap my hands "alright boys let's get you two ready" I say walking over to their wardrobe to pick out clothes for them. For Zander I pick out a light brown t-shirt, blue denim jeans, black socks and a pair of black converse and for Jace I pick out a blue t-shirt, grey jeans, black socks and black converse. I quickly get the boys ready and usher them out the room, leading them to the kitchen where Davina is.

"Mommy!" the boys yell happily as they enter the kitchen, Davina stops what she's doing and turns to them with a big smile on her face "hi boys. Why don't you two look handsome" she says as she kneels down as they reach her and throw their arms around her making her laugh and hug them back. "Do you know where we're going today mommy?" Zander asks "no baby. Your daddy won't tell me he just said I'll have to wait and see" she replies "that's what he said to me" Jace replies pointing to himself making me chuckle. "How's baby doing today mommy?" Zander asks pointing to her stomach "baby is doing just fine" she replies placing a hand on her small baby bump and both of the boys place their hand over hers making me smile at the sight. Davina smiles and gives them both a kiss on the cheek before standing up and turning to the stove and moving the pan off. "Okay boys go sit at the table and I'll bring your breakfast to you" she says as she grabs two plates from one of the cupboards. The boys quickly sit at the table and I go and pour them both a cup of apple juice as Davina puts two pancakes on each plate. I place the cups of apple juice down on the table in front of the boys as Davina places two plates of pancakes down and they quickly took into their food. I head to the fridge for a blood bag as Davina plates out her breakfast.

Once I've had my blood bag I start cleaning up with a bit of protest from Davina who was insistent on her doing the dishes but I simply told her to sit and eat her breakfast and let me do the dishes. Once the boys are finished eating they walk over to me and hand me their dirty plates and cutlery. 

"Alright are we all ready to go?" I ask once I've finished cleaning and putting away the dishes "yes daddy" the boys reply I turn my attention to Davina "are you ready to go out love?" I ask she nods giving me a smile "yeah let's go" she replies standing up from the table. We put coats on the boys since it's a little chilly outside today and we don't want the boys to get a cold. Davina quickly casts the disguising spell on me and to other strangers or enemies I look like Kaleb the body I inhabited when I met Davina but of course nobody except for Davina and my family know that.

We leave the house and decide to walk it around instead of driving around as walking around allows us to get a clear look of everything. I decide to take them to the park by the center of town.
