Teenagers are put here to question their sexual orientation and gender identification. To form relationships and bonds that will hopefully last them a lifetime. To be rebellious yet maintain some form of obedience. To test the limitations of society. To conform to the rules in a non-conforming way. To participate in some form of human interaction. To be judged by our elders. To be told not to use the resources that have been invented over years of hard work because we have it "too easy". To be repremanded. To question our position in this world. To make some sort of impact with our lives. To have some affect on how this world goes on when we leave it for the next generation to go through it all again. We're sent here to be inevitably pained by everyday issues, yet we are meant to somehow overcome them. We have to be the answer to our own questions. We are the ones who must test our theories and conduct experiments. We are the ones who must be secretly stressed and overall depressed, we have to hide from our parents how much of a mess our lives truly are because as much as they think they understand, they truly and honestly don't.
This is only part of our purpose, there's so much more that just makes it all worth it, even when we feel worthless.
