Rudra's Big Day

Rudra was up early today as was a habit of his and going by his own words he was a self proclaimed fitness freak who no matter what never missed his morning regime of rigorous workout.

After having completed his workout session he was about to go down when suddenly his phone beeped with a notification. He took the phone and on seeing the message his happiness knew no bounds as there it was the email he had been waiting for  right there in his inbox. The coveted letter from Agarwal Realtors who are a force to be reckoned with in the real estate business located in Mumbai and this was a big opportunity for anyone looking to earn name and fame in the industry.
Rudra couldn't wait to share this news with his family and rushed down overjoyed. Once he broke the news to them Sanjeev and Snighda's happiness knew no bounds and they  looked at Rudra proudly. They were also happy that their son's hard work has payed off finally. Aahana on the other hand took her brother in a bone crushing hug with a big smile on her face and with their talks centered around Rudra they proceeded towards the dining table for breakfast.
After breakfast they all left the house to go to their respective workplace and it was then that reality strucked him. He had to join work a week from today and lots needed to be done. Hence, he quickly went to his room to and immediately started making a list of all the  things he would be needing as time was of an essence.
After going through his list he decided to go shopping nearby to buy certain things that he knew would be available easily nearby and for the rest decided to go shopping again the next day. Soon he reached home and headed straight to his room. He thought of lying down for sometime as he was feeling tired and closed his eyes. Soon he fell fast asleep only to be woken up hearing the doorbell and on hearing his mother's voice to come down. It was then that he realized that it was late evening and after seeing the time on the wall clock couldn't believe how long he had slept. Hearing his mother's voice for the second time in a row he washed his face and went down only to be taken by surprise on seeing a young boy standing in front of him. Well to be shocked would be an understatement as Rudra was looking forward to discussing certain things with his family over dinner and now realized that he would have to postpone the conversation for the next day as he was informed that their guest would not only be having dinner with them but also will be staying with them for the night. Rudra's curiosity now got the better of him and couldn't wait to ask his mother about this first of theirs. His mother told him that he was the son of their close friends who since many years were in Mumbai.
Rudra couldn't argue in front of his mother and just smiled at this guest.
Soon the doorbell rang again announcing the arrival of his father and sister. Aahana greeted her mother only to be told to go freshen up quickly and come down for dinner to meet a guest. She hugged her mother and came down soon after. However, on seeing the guest she became so angry that Snigdha had to come out of the kitchen to pacify her daughter. Yes,he was none other than the person with whose car she had collided with this fateful morning.
However, she couldn't say much apart from just telling him to get out from her house seeing her mother getting angry on her for forgetting her manners when it came to treating guests. They were introduced to each other and she learned that their guests' name was Dev Agarwal who lived in Mumbai. She was still angry but having got a piece of mind from her mother was now quiet though continued to glare at him angrily.

Soon they all moved to the dining table and after dinner Rudra was asked to show  Dev the guest room and to make his night stay comfortable. Since, he didn't have any clothes that he could change into Rudra gave him his night clothes assuming they would fit him as be seemed to be of the same built as Rudra.
After ensuring that their guest is comfortable Rudra went to his room but not before calming his sister who seemed very uneasy(he didn't know why) on seeing Dev.
Soon he reached his room threw himself on the bed with his mind full of nillions thoughts but soon sleep overtook him and he called it a night.
