I was excited and nervous at the same time as today I would be starting my career in dad's company and what could be better than having Singhania Jewellers as the stepping stone in one's career. A company that trains young career orientated girls and boys with in depth knowledge not only about various stones that goes into making a piece of jewellery but also about all the small intricate details with hands on experience.

I can say that I am a very lucky girl who has always received the support of her family thus, when I told my dad about my decision to join our company as a trainee he obviously was a happy man who like any father wanted to ensure that I have the best training facility as befitting my stature and mom seemed to agree with him.

I had to cut their enthusiasm in the middle as knowing my parents if not stopped now then by tomorrow everyone in office would know who I am owing to which the entire staff would be hesitant while training me and would not have the cheek to point out my mistakes.
Hence, it would only be logical and in the best interest of everyone that my identity be kept a secret. Naturally this was not an easy condition put in front of my parents but, they had to give in after a long discussion and after all the relevant points that I had put forth they had nothing to say apart from giving in to my condition.

We ended the discussion and went to our rooms as tomorrow was a big day for our family. I wasn't even sure whether I would get enough sleep being excited and nervous at the same time but dozed off the minute I hit my sack( I must have been very tired).

The next day I was up early and ready without mom waking me up ( which is the usual morning routine). Hence, when she came to wake me up and seeing me ready already busy keeping all essential items in my bag had a big smile on her face.
We wished each other "Good Morning" and not wanting to be late on my first day itself I quickly made my way down to eat breakfast.
My family wished me good luck and after taking my parents and God's blessings went to where my scooty was parked towards office with all sorts of things occupying my mind.
I seemed to be so lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice the car coming my way nor did I hear its honking and when I did realize it was too late as the inevitable had happened.
Yes, my scooty had collided with the car and with a "THUD" I fell on the ground. Luckily the driver had applied the brakes on time owing to which I did fall but managed to escape with minor bruises on my knees, realizing that driving would be difficult. I managed to get up with a little difficulty and luckily my dress wasn't soiled.

Nevertheless, I got up and made my way to where the car was standing to give the driver a piece of my mind. I started banging on the car's window like a maniac. This seemed to get the driver's attention who came out of the car and stood in front of me with hands kept inside his pants pocket.
I opened my mouth ready to pick a bout with him but, it seemed as if my mind was blank for the man standing in front of me was way to handsome to be described in words. Tall, muscular build body with unkempt hair(I felt the urge to run my fingers through them) and eyes that you just want to drown into. I was actually gawking at him and came back to reality when he snapped his fingers with a smirk on his face.
I mentally cursed myself but managed to curb my thoughts and gave him a piece of my mind also. He just stood still & apologized to me almost immediately after I was done venting out my feelings offering to drop me also to where I had to go.

I sat in the car and told him the name of my destination but was shocked when he asked me to guide him.
Wow!what a start to my day. First the accident and then meeting a moron who doesn't know Singhania Jewellers address. I asked him" Dude are you even for real. I mean which person in the city does not know about Singhania Jewellers?". He then told me that he is not from the city and is here for some official work from Mumbai and I simply nodded.
Left with no other option I told him the way and soon reached my destination. I thanked him for making me reach on time and he smiled in response before driving into oblivion.
I then turned around to see the majestic building which has made all young girls and boys passionately driven for this industry carve a niche for themselves and I hoped to achieve the same. Trust me I literally had goosebumps but composed myself and made my inside the building.

"MY DREAMS HERE I COME and to the world watch out for Aahana Singhania; the girl who will soon be a name to reckon with in the industry".
