Aahana after reading the handwritten note which clearly stated not to unwrap any package before evening was making her restless and thus, when the clock indicated the onset of evening she without wasting a minute further emptied the packet of its contents and savagely tore open the packets which were elegantly packed. She knew that she was behaving no more than a child but then told herself “ Who doesn't like gifts?” went back to tearing open the packages. She was done opening them real quick and once all the gifts were unwrapped the sight that met her eyes made her gasp in awe for her eyes were feasting on the most gorgeous LBD(Little black dress) which ended just a little above her knees perfectly highlighting her curves and she couldn't help from seeing her in the dress time and again. The next packages held matching earrings and a bracelet which she had fallen in love with for they looked really elegant just the way she liked to accessorize.
She was now ready to go on a date with her husband though today she couldn't help but admire herself by looking into the mirror when Dev who had entered the room couldn't help but admire his wife who was looking no less than a princess and indeed she was one. Yes, she was his princess and each day he found her more beautiful than the previous day but, today was something else as Aahana was glowing naturally, the glow he had seen the last time she was(pregnant). However, he shunned this thought of his thinking she would have told him but then thought maybe she wanted to surprise him. He prayed to God to let this be true and after taking a deep breath wanted to just for the rest of the evening focus on having a good time with his wife.
Soon they left the house to have a lovely evening the plan- was that there was no plan ie, to let themselves be free to whatever or wherever one wanted to go. Aahana who had turned into a chaat lover these days decided to skip chaats for just one day just to make her hubby happy and sure he was happy if only for today. Dev who was trying to put all the pieces together was having a very strong feeling about her being pregnant again. He thought that for now he should just play along and wait for her to break the news.
Dev Aahana were enjoying themselves, romance in the air, not to forget Mumbai rains for making the atmosphere more romantic. Aahana was loving every moment not wanting this perfect moment of theirs to end. Soft mellow music could be heard in the background that described the moment, their feelings and the time perfectly.
They were lost in each other letting their eyes do the talking(Eyes,the gateway to a person's heart can say things in a more expressive manner than words can provided one understands the language)when Dev suddenly pulled her close to whisper sweet romantic lines, to hold her close to him,to feel her, for her to touch him, get intoxicated by her heavenly scent, to..; words he thought would fall short to just tell her how much he loved her. He wanted to return home to her every night, her voice had a soothing effect on him taking all his anxieties away, she was his drug without which his survival was at stake, she was…(Thoughts broken by Aahana's shaking and calling out to him) who was staring at him wondering what might be wrong but,seeing his calm face and his smile relaxed her.
By now, it was quite late and Aahana wanted to go back home as she was feeling tired. Dev too thought the same and drove them home after having a wonderful time.
