Healing Her Broken Heart

Aahana back to normal after 2 months

Aahana since the fateful day like magic has started to come around. The whole family knew the person responsible for having achieved what had seemed an impossible thing but,Dev had made it possible simply by pouring in all his love and care into making her normal again. Dev had started taking Aahana for walks in their garden as some fresh air would be good for her. He would let her walk without support till the time she could and would be there to support her when needed.

Time is the best healer and if a person is showered with unconditional love then no pain or injury can survive long. Aahana and Dev's life was a true testament to this saying as she was recovering quickly than anticipated though her body was still weak for known reasons but apart from this small hurdle Aahana was able to now carry out all day to day activities like any other normal person but, for now they were happy to see her smile, laugh and walk around the house; Riddhi specially was on cloud nine when Aahana told her that she feels like eating home cooked food that Riddhi makes. This was what Riddhi was waiting to hear all these years and without wasting any time rushed to the kitchen so as to prepare Aahana's favourite dishes.
Aahana was really happy these days as she was able to spend time with her lovely family who she knew loved her like their daughter,thanking God and her parents for such a loving family. She told Dev that it's been a long time since she saw her parents and wanted to go to Kolkata. Hearing this Dev told her that she isn't in the condition to travel yet and hearing which she was disappointed though she understood that it's for her own good. After hearing what Dev had to say next bought a smile on her face. He told her so what if she cannot travel her parents can definitely come. He also told her that she needn't worry about the rest. Soon Riddhi came to the dining room carrying a tray of food and the rest were being bought by the servants.
The Agarwals were finally eating their dinner together as a happy family, the memory of which was probably a distant past. What made this moment all the more special was that both their children were happy which was not easy as they had escaped death's door proving just how strong their love is. Dev was trying day and night to make Aahana normal again and was successful after two whole months.
They spent some time with each other and went to their rooms to have a good sleep.
