Healing Her Broken Heart

Dev who was totally exhausted from yesterday's meeting decided to get up late the following morning. He was sure that Aahana would text him back  else he would have to go without meeting her and this thought made him sad. Dev once again checked his phone but, still there was no reply from her and now he was getting anxious. Thus, he decided to call her and this time his call was received on the second ring but, before he could say anything she said that she suddenly had to go out of the city for some official work only to  be back after 2 days and apologized for not being able to text or call back.
They spoke for some minutes during which Aahana came to know that he is in her city and the hotel he's staying at.
(Sighing) " I am sorry baby on not being able to meet you this time. You should have told me earlier, I would have simply asked dad to send some other executive. Now, it's too late. Hope you understand. I love you a lot but, I have to go now.
Take care and do let me know in advance the next time you decide to come to my city".

With this she cuts the call and he is disappointed on not being able to meet her. Thus, he decides to just spend the remaining time in the room lazing around.
Soon, it was lunch time and he decided to order lunch for himself and was about to call room service when the phone buzzed. He was informed by the receptionist that they have received a parcel in his name, requesting him to come down for it or they could have it sent to his room. Dev decided on the latter thinking who could have sent him the parcel.
The bellboy soon handed the parcel to him which made him jump with joy for the parcel had her name mentioned. Yes, indeed he was overjoyed and did a happy dance. He tore the parcel rather impatiently only to find a letter enclosed.
The letter read as follows:
" To my future husband

Firstly,welcome to my city and secondly, wear the clothes I have sent. Incase you are wondering why well, I am asking you out on a date. So will you wear the clothes I sent you and come down? I am anxiously waiting for you downstairs in the lobby".

After he finished reading the letter, he rushed to the washroom and quickly freshened up. He then changed into the clothes she had sent for him and after checking himself in the mirror rushed to meet her.

Soon, he reached the lobby and on seeing her it was as if time had stopped. He was mesmerized by the beauty standing in front of him his eyes not wanting to leave her face and this made her blush profusely.
Aahana who was aware of their surroundings tried to make him come out of his trance by clearing her throat which did the trick. Sensing the situation he started ruffling his hair and this habit of his amongst many others always drove her crazy making her want to run her hands through his hair but being aware of her surroundings she somehow controlled herself.
They soon left the hotel with Dev following her directions as she alone knew where they were going rather  where she intended on taking him.
