Singhania and Agarwal family were in upheavel for all the young cousins and friends had the whole house on the roof with each trying to perfect their step for tonight's sangeet thus, the reason for commotion.
Luckily, the choreographer had somehow managed to calm their nerves making them practice as much as possible so that they all could make it a rocking one and that which our couple would remember throughout their lives.
Well, once all were satisfied and they were all told in details about the performing order all went to their rooms to relax for sometime so that they all would be as fresh as a flower when suddenly someone sensed the absence of Dev and Aahana respectively only to be learn that both wanted to rest for sometime and thus, had gone to their rooms which earned knowing nods and hoots from all present.
Soon, the night was finally here. The Singhania family were already present at the venue and were soon joined by the Agarwals. Dev was looking really handsome had all the female swooning over him but he just gave a cold shoulder to all.
Dev just wanted to see one face,one which had him mesmerized,was so in awe of her that he never wanted to see any other apart from hers and had his eyes fixed on the entrance.
His wait was soon over for there She was and on seeing her entering the hall he was completely floored for Aahana looked like an angel who had descended straight from heaven specially for him. Dressed in a pink coloured lehenga, hands adorned with henna which by now had turned deep maroon in colour and matching accessories which complimented her looks, she indeed did look like an angelic beauty.
An announcement on the mike asked everyone present to be seated so that the function could be started and everyone followed suit.
"Ladies and Gentlemen the sangeet ceremony is about to begin"
The ceremony started by paying homage to Lord Ganesh after which all the performers took the stage and left post their act.
The night so far was a rocking one and when people thought that it's over an announcement was heard that the surprise for the evening is still left. Yes,the surprise being the bride and the groom's performance and this filled the whole room with hoots.
Now for the stars of the evening and with this all lights were centered on stage. Aahana was feeling shy and had butterflies in her stomach but, once her eyes met with Dev's it acted like a booster for her and she was now ready for her act. Below is Aahana's performance:
" Dev I would like to say that you are my whole world and the day we met I fell in love with you though I didn't realize then. I feel beautiful when you look at me and just want to thank you for being there for me always hoping we will always stay strong."
Soon, the room was filled with music
(The dance will not be on just one song but,in fact a medley)
"Tumse milke aisa laga tumse milke,
Armaan hue poore dil ke,
Ae mere Jaan e wafa
Teri meri,meri teri ek jaan hai

Tumse naa honge juda".

The song immediately changed to:

The next and the final song left was not a complete song but just a few lines from a very famous song and Aahana wanted to sing it as the concluding part.
" Ho gaya hai mujhko to pyaar sajna
Lakh kar loon main inkaar sajna
Hai yeh pyaar sajna"
(I have fallen in love no matter how much I deny this fact)
Yes indeed this is love for all my waking moments are spent thinking about you and when I am sleeping you come in my dreams. So this cannot be anything else but love.
I love you a lot Dev."
After her performance Aahana became emotional and Dev who wanted to hug her badly now immediately rushed to the stage and hugged her without wasting a moment.
Once Aahana was herself, he asked her to just be there with him onstage and she just agreed. Now for Dev's act.
" Tenu itna main pyaar karaa,
Ek pal vich sau baar kaara
Tu jaave je mainu chaddke

After Dev had finished he looked her way only to learn that she was smiling and crying at the same time.
The audience who was quiet till now suddenly broke into hoots and all applauded the couple who were now being guided carefully guided down from the stage.
Soon, they were made to sit comfortably on their respective chairs and some food along with refreshments were bought to them.
After having a fun filled night all left the venue as some rest was also needed for the next day was going to be long and tiring.
Yes, for it was Dev and Aahana's wedding day.
