Dev Strucks Gold

Aahana and Dev talk to each other daily at night and at times during the day;their love for each other increasing by the day.

Life is going on as usual for them. They are exceeding all expectations at work though they miss and crave for the other terribly. Thus, it so happened one day that Dev was called by his father in his cabin. Mr. Agarwal sounded worried or so he thought and  like a devoted son Dev(as he had now turned a new leaf) immediately rushed to his father's cabin and barged right in only to be informed by his father that he needn't worry for it was nothing serious. On the contrary Dev on an urgent basis had to attend an important meeting already fixed with the clients. His father also told him that all arrangements had been taken care of to avoid any delay and so that the meeting could be wrapped up the same day itself. Dev who was all this while listening to his father intently suddenly noticed his father smiling. Seeing him smile made Dev happy but, which was soon replaced by a fishy feeling for he suddenly noticed his dad snickering. Dev asked his father the reason for this as he too wanted to be a part of the secret ( if any)but, his dad didn't let the cat come out of the box and infact just said that he would soon come to know everything leaving Dev in the dark.
He was then given minutes about the meeting and told to leave for the airport immediately. Dev took his  father's blessings left for the airport mentally preparing himself for the meeting forgetting everything that took place a while ago in his dad's cabin. Soon, the flight landed in Kolkata airport and it was after hearing the flight attendant's voice informing all about it that reality hit him. Yes, he was indeed in her city and his heart leaped with joy for he obviously couldn't leave without meeting her but, at the moment he knew he had a commitment to fulfill and thus,he decided to take things as it comes.
The passengers were asked to board a bus that would drop them in front of the gate from where they could easily collect their belongings. Dev who didn't have any luggage apart from the one he was carrying made a dash towards the exit for he wanted to finish the meeting at the earliest so he could surprise his love.
The meeting took longer than expected making him restless. Now, it was almost evening and they decided to break for tea. This was the moment he had been waiting for and immediately texted her anxiously waiting for her reply but, his wait was in vain. He thought she might be busy and decided to try again after the meeting was over. The meeting turned out to be exhilarating though it bought a smile on Dev's face once it over and he had his reasons for the meeting had once again ended like the way he preferred. Dev knew he had stuck gold on having bagged such a great catch and knew his father would be proud of him.
He so wanted to share this accomplishment of his with his lady love and who at the moment was playing hard to get leaving him in dismay. Since, the meeting had taken his entire day leaving him tired he thus, decided to book a room in a hotel close to the airport up save on commute time the next day and managed to get a luxurious room without any difficulty.
Since, he was really exhausted he changed into his spare clothes and sleep soon overtook him.
