The room has been plunged in complete darkness and this is scaring Aahana a lot who is close to having a panic attack calling out to her mom hysterically.
Snighda is unable to see her daughter in this state knowing how scared she is of the dark but knows that standing at the other end of this darkness is the light her daughter has longed for since a long time.
Aahana is seen moving in all directions with Dev not far behind.
They collide with each other. Aahana loses her balance and is about to fall when a strong hand grips hers thus stopping her from falling.
They are now face to face. Aahana thanks Dev and is about to free herself from his trip when suddenly the lights are back.
Dev and Aahana are now face to face.
Everything is at a standstill as if rejoicing in the moment.
They are seen making their way towards each other at a frantic pace and all the pent up emotions coming out in the form of tears.
Words, seems to fall short to describe their feelings and a song can be heard playing in the background
The song is from the movie "Veer-Zaara"

Dev and Aahana are lost in each other. They want to make sure that they are seeing each other for real and thus hold on to each other like holding onto life. Well, quite literally for they are each other's life.
Time it seems has ceased to exist for them. The feeling of being in each other's arms is equivalent to that of eternal joy.
They deepen their embrace not wanting the either to leave. They are trying to absorb everything they can about the other ie, the feel, the touch, the scent of their bodies, the heartbeat etc.
Soon, one thing leads to the other and Dev not able to control himself anymore starts kissing Aahana passionately pouring all the love he has for her. Aahana who has already lost her heart to Dev decided to surrender herself to him trusting him with her life. She reciprocates the kiss only to stop for air,their breaths ragged from the heated kiss.
Sometimes words don't seem enough to express feelings as only action speaks louder than words.
Our Dev and Aahana are a living testimony to the saying for their actions were enough to prove their love to each other;one that is so pure and heaven sent.
They are staring into each others eyes when reality of what just happened dawned on Aahana and she broke their embrace.
Dev tried to pull her back but his efforts were in vain as she was moving away from her. This action of hers was enough for Dev to welcome fresh set of tears and Aahana was unable to see him crying. She ran towards him wiping away his tears. Dev had already snaked his arms around her tiny frame tightening his hold on her waist.
Once she realized that all her efforts to break free were futile chose to talk to Dev and thus was about to say something when she was silenced from a kiss by Dev before he chose to speak.

( Dev all this is not easy for me for I too love you like crazy. I at one point didn't even know whether you loved me or not and still longed for you. But, someone decided to put an end to this anxiety of mine in the form of my brother who broke this joyous news to me and I was elated when suddenly I remembered the promise that I had made to myself. The promise of seeing my parents happy at any cost even if that means me being tortured in fate's hands, I shall not let their happiness diminish under any circumstances and one that I shall honour till my last breath.
Dev, I thus request you to understand what I've told you and forget me).

Dev all this while is standing silently,face flushed with anger.
He pulls her close to him holding her tightly by the arms.
All pleas made to leave her is in vain and Dev takes her for another kiss which is not gentle but is rather rough, biting her lips as if trying to mark her his. He stops kissing her to taste hot liquid oozing from her lips and immediately pulls back angry at himself for hurting her.
Aahana is happy having realized that no person can love her like this man standing in front of her and falls to the ground crying knowing they can never be one.
Dev seeing this vulnerable state of hers bends down to her level and tries to make her stand again gently.
They hear the sound of approaching footsteps and quickly hold on to each other once again tightening their grips respectively.
Their figures retreating on seeing their parents knowing they are here to separate them.
Dev is telling Aahana to run away with him but she pulls him back, the tears not stopping and her hands are folded in front of her parents.
Both with folded hands fall in their parents feet crying.
