Healing Her Broken Heart

Their Romantic moments evaded

Aahana has been gone since long leaving an anxious Dev behind who is getting impatient with each passing second, his eyes wandering here and there so as to see her.
Soon, the whole house plunges into darkness with soft music playing in the background but, Aahana is still missing. Now, Dev is starting to get worried and is about to call her when all of a sudden he turns around on hearing her voice only to be taken by surprise at the sight in front.
Aahana was kneeling on the floor holding a ring in her hands looking like an angel with the spotlight falling on her and the music stopped all of a sudden to be followed by her voice

"Dev my love,today is a very special day for us and I wanted to make it all the more special. So here goes the moment you've probably been waiting for. Yes, I have bought you here to confess my feelings.
I don't know what to say or how to start but, say I must. So here we go. Well, to begin you my love have given me a new meaning to live, the way you look at me makes me feel beautiful. I never thought that I would be so important for someone or me ending up loving someone so much that each and every cell of my body would be filled with his essence.
I am not the romantic types which by now you must have guessed and without making a fool of myself further just know this that I am yours and yours only till eternity.

So, having said all these will you Mr. Dev Agarwal marry me making me yours in every true sense?"

This was probably the clue that Dev was waiting for; he went down on his knees taking her in his arms, lifting her slowly either not leaving the other,completely lost in each other and suddenly a song started playing in the background.
(Well, I couldn't think of a better song than this):

The song had ended but they were still lost in each other and Aahana plastered to his chest like second skin, her feet dangling for she was still in his arms. They were about to kiss when this romantic moment of theirs was broken by some voices coming from a distance.
Dev immediately put her down but didn't let her go infact, pulled her more close to him so as to protect her from any danger (if at all) lurking close by.
He decided to check for the intruder and was ready to blow the daylights out of him thus, he moved really slow like a wild beast out to catch its prey.
However, the room in fact the whole house plunged into darkness and the only sounds that could be heard was that of people laughing. This really scared Aahana but, when Dev squeezed her hands assuring her that he wouldn't let anything happen to them did she relax. She decided to call her parents but there was no network and she was close to being hysterical.
All of a sudden a manly hand pulled Aahana towards him,scaring them both.
