On the path to recovery post coma

The next day both the families were at the hospital waiting for the reports to come well, they didn't have to wait for a long time for the doctor told them that as per the report all the tests done were positive and no post coma syndrome was visible. The doctor also told them that though this is definitely good news Dev's movements were slow and at times seemed restricted. Thus,keeping everyone's best interest and more so Dev's it is only advisable that he be kept in the hospital till he is able to carry out day to day activities like a healthy person. All were on the same page with the doctor and they immediately agreed.

The next day they would let Dev do things on his own. Well, the nurse would definitely be there to help him when required but, the sooner he starts doing things without any support the better it is for him. The doctor didn't know that more than him Dev who was oblivious of the storm that was waiting for him back home wanted to go home to his family more than anything else. He was anxious to see his wife and children which bought a smile on his face. He didn't realize when he had started thinking out loud unaware that all his talks were heard by Riddhi and she was silently crying. Riddhi somehow managed to put on a brave face and entered his room. Dev happy to see his mother thought that now he would get some answers and asked her the first question about Aahana to which obviously Riddhi didn't have an answer to. She didn't want to keep her son in the dark but, the doctor had strictly advised against any such talks that might cause discomfort or anxiety attacks. Hence, with a smile on her face she told him that all are fine and waiting for him to come back home soon apologising mentally for telling a lie but, she didn't have any option.
Soon, it was time to go back and after giving a light peck on Dev's forehead she left the hospital to go home, her mind filled with thoughts about how she would dodge his questions about Aahana but,when she didn't get any answers she decided to leave it all upon God as the saying goes" When you can't seek answers just leave it upto God for he will guide you and take you out from trouble always" well, this seemed to have relaxed her a little and soon reached home where Aryan along with Rudra were waiting for her to come so she could brief them about Dev's condition.
However, the worry lines visible on her forehead told a different story which worried both Rudra and Aryan. After Riddhi had relaxed for a while she told them that Dev was improving each day but, she was worried as she didn't know what to tell Dev when he asks about Aahana and the kids. They couldn't tell him the truth and hiding the fact was well, killing her from the inside. Aryan laid a comforting hand on her shoulder telling her that she needn't worry for he would from the very next accompany her. She had done her part and now he had to do his share of the part. Hearing this from her husband made her happy.
Rudra told Aryan that he needn't worry about work as he would take care of everything and that he along with Riddhi should be with Dev.
Aryan agreed with Rudra and soon they retired for the night.
