Dev Aahana were really happy with the way life was shaping up for them, Aahana specially whose dream of opening her own store was finally a reality making everyone proud of her, for she had managed to achieve a lot within a short span of time through sheer hard work, passion and dedication.
One day it so happened that she was busy with a client and happened to glance at the calendar when she realized that the following day would mark six months as Mrs. Aahana Agarwal and instantly a smile crept on her face. Well, she decided to surprise Dev and knew a lot needed to be done but first thing's first ie, she needed to attend the client first.
Aahana always made sure that no compromise should be made when it comes to handling clients and that the staff including herself should always treat the clients like a king as this was amongst the traits she had learned at Singhania Jewellers.
Thus, once she was done with this client she informed her staff to take care of business today as she was leaving early. On her way she called Riddhi to check if she was free so they could meet at the mall nearby and do shopping together.
Well, Riddhi and Aahana had become quite fond of each other which soon led them to becoming so close of the other that Aahana looked upto Riddhi more like a friend and since they both loved celebrating any occasion even going the extra mile so as to make it special was all the more a reason that her mother in law's name( Aahana used this just as an endearment)was the first one to come to mind. Thus, when Aahana asked Riddhi she was more than happy to keep Aahana company.
They soon reached the mall and being meticulous shoppers soon went about doing their thing flying from one shop to the other for a lot needed to be done before Dev comes back and they needed to be ahead of time. Well, time was definitely on their side for within no time they had managed to buy all necessary things and were now on their way home.
Aahana took all the bags to her room and started decorating the balcony attached to her room. Well, this was her first choice for not only was the weather beautiful around this time but also for it offered a beautiful skyline and third reason was well, this was the only unused corner left for(any guesses).
She soon got down to laying a table for two and then attacked a bed which sat at a corner of the balcony, changing the bed sheets, draping the curtains and lighting each sides with box lanterns taking care not to leave any corner untouched. The path leading to the balcony was strewn with rose petals and on top of the bed of rose petals sat huge pots filled with water and floating candles. Soon she finished decorating the room and was happy with the results. Now, she needed to get dressed and had a wicked plan up her sleeves. Her face had that subtle hint of naughtiness for she knew exactly how her hubby would react which is what she was aiming at.
Soon, it was time for Dev to come but wait! there was still time for the clock to strike midnight and she couldn't let Dev enter the room till then so as to spoil the surprise. Well, a plan had already been made in which Aryan and Riddhi were to play pivotal roles ie, do anything they can to stop Dev from entering the room until Aahana gives them the green signal. Well, Riddhi knew too well how to keep her son from heading straight to his room and one which he would not even doubt. Thus, as soon as Dev was home Riddhi immediately put her plan in action but not before informing Aahana about his arrival.
The plan had begun with Aahana dressing up exactly like Dev had once imagined her in his dreams and downstairs Riddhi was executing her part of the plan. However, few minutes into the game Dev realized that something is definitely not right but decided to play along. Riddhi for once was scared that had they let the cat out of the bag already but all her doubts were cleared when by the look on her son's face she was sure that he didn't have a clue not realizing that Dev too was just playing along.
Soon, the clock struck midnight and as if on cue Riddhi told him that she was now feeling a lot better both by talking to him and by his presence. Dev just smiled at his mother, taking the gift bag in one hand and a bouquet in the other he without wasting any further time rushed to his room not realizing what was in store for him.
