Healing Her Broken Heart

Good news

A week has passed since the party. Life is now back to normal for them each busy with their own lives. It was like any other normal working day and they had all sat down to eat breakfast when Riddhi suddenly raised her concern over Aahana who at times seemed really tired.
She had even discussed this with Aahana who just answered maybe due to work pressure.
Aahana's health over the days though became a concern for everyone and this now even had Dev worried who had told his wife that if this is the case for the remaining day then the next day they are going to see a doctor though Aahana was trying her best to convince Dev otherwise but he was adamant and Aahana was left with no other choice.
Since she wasn't feeling too well they decided to sleep early and within seconds were sound asleep. Dev, in the middle of the night had got up to drink water suddenly realised that Aahana wasn't there by his side and this worried him. He immediately sprang to his feet and decided to check the washroom first.
However, the sight that met his eyes scared him for there she was leaning too close to the lavatory puking. He immediately started rubbing her back so as to calm her and once she was all done he carefully guided her towards the bed tucking her back to sleep.
Aahana was soon sound asleep but Dev was waking up in the middle of the night just to check on her.
The next morning he told Riddhi all that had happened last night. He also informed her that he is taking Aahana to a gynaecologist for a check up so as to be sure to which Riddhi agreed. She then told him that a few days ago she had suspected it and from what she had just learnt from her son she was now sure that indeed Aahana was pregnant.
Dev told her he too had a similar notion and was talking to his mother when Aahana came down looking more beautiful than usual today.
Soon they were on their way to see the doctor.

Back home Riddhi couldn't seem to control her enthusiasm and had her eyes fixed on the driveway. After what seemed liked decades Dev's car could be seen entering the driveway and she immediately rushed to open the gate even before the doorbell could be pressed.
One look at her children she could sense good news coming her way and was trying to control her joy. Dev and Aahana entered the house and told Riddhi that they were right for Aahana was indeed two weeks pregnant.
She hugged Aahana and decided to break the news herself to Aahana's parents who on hearing the news were really excited.
She then called up Aryan giving him the good news and asked him to bring Rudra over for dinner. Aryan was really happy and broke the news to Rudra also asking him to come over to his house for dinner.
It was indeed a very happy moment for both Agarwals and Singhanias thanking God for this new blessing.
