Healing Her Broken Heart

They missing each other

A six months pregnant Aahana is resting in her room thinking how lucky she is to get such a loving and caring family and can't thank God enough. With Riddhi around she doesn't miss Snighda(her mother) for Riddhi is always there to take care of her. In a short span of time Aahana’s loving nature has won the hearts of everyone in the house. Riddhi who sees the daughter she never had in Aahana is trying her best to do everything so that her daughter's pregnancy is a smooth ride.
One day it so happened that the mother and daughter were sitting or let's say enjoying each other's company when suddenly Riddhi notices Aahana's tense face. On asking her the reason she tells Riddhi that she is having trouble sitting as her back is aching and without wasting any time further Riddhi immediately tells Aahana that she needs rest. She then takes her towards the room making sure Aahana is comfortable on the bed and sits beside her on the other side.
This has become like a routine for them ever since she learned that her daughter Aahana is pregnant. Well, Riddhi is always there with Aahana to take care of her till Dev isn't back post which she leaves them alone. Just a few weeks were left and then she would be seventh months pregnant and all were really excited to see the new members of the family.

It was like any other day in office and Dev happened to be busy with work when all of a sudden Aryan called Dev asking him to come to his cabin immediately. Aryan sounded quite serious which made Dev worry. Nevertheless, he went inside his dad's cabin only to see the great Aryan Agarwal rubbing his forehead and asked his father to let the cat out of the bag ie, to tell him the reason or whatever it was that was bothering him though after hearing his father Dev became sad. The reason was that a client of theirs off lately had started creating problems for them and this needed to be sorted on a priority basis. Since Dev understood the physiology of a person well thus the decision was reached that he has to go to pacify the client and is to leave early the next day. Riddhi was well aware of it and had decided to tell Aahana also though not sure how she would be react but, was glad when she seemed to nod her head in agreement.
After having taken all her medicines Aahana dozed off as nowadays she became tired very quickly due to which she slept the latter part of the day and didn't realize when Dev had entered the room. Seeing his beautiful wife sleeping he decided not to disturb her but couldn't resist from giving a light pack on her cheeks. He sat besides her and didn't realize when a tear that escaped his eyes fell on her cheek waking up Aahana. Well, seeing her otherwise strong husband crying melted her heart and she took him in her embrace. Once she was sure that Dev is his self again she told him that he needn't worry about her well being for she has her mother “Riddhi” to take care of her though he has to promise to call her. Hearing all this from his wife he hugged her tightly fully aware that she is trying to put on a brave act and decides to come back victorious.
The next day Dev kisses Aahana goodbye and seeing his retreating figure she breaks down into tears. Seeing her in this state Riddhi consoles her saying time will fly by without her even realizing it. Aahana knew that she has to be strong though she knew that for her time will pass slowly and also that Dev wouldn't be back till a few days. She was missing him already and when Dev called her to inform her that he has reached safely she broke down.
Dev on the other end was dying to just take her in his arms but knew that he had to handle the business as well as calm his now emotional wife which was a piece of cake for him and after a few minutes he was successful in making his wife laugh. He then told her that since he has to meet the client he will call her later. Aahana agreed but became sad and which in turn made Dev sad but he knew that he couldn't show his feelings to her and thus, trying to find his voice he told her that she cannot act this way for she has to take care of their love growing inside her. Luckily Aahana understood and wishing him luck told him that she knows he will win over the client.
The day passed by quickly but the night was hard as because Dev wasn't by her side for the first time ever since she became pregnant.
Dev knew and understood that in the present situation ie, being away from his wife correction his pregnant wife he would need to talk her to sleep each night that he would spend away from her.
Two days have passed of they being away and each day is making it all the more unbearable for them but, work must go on.
Soon the day finally arrived when Dev would be flying back home. He decided to call his parents to give them this good news but before informing them called up Aahana excitedly. However, when he was not able to talk to her he called his mother and told her that he is worried as Aahana is not picking her phone though after speaking to his mother he calmed down. Riddhi had told Dev that since the morning Aahana was feeling uneasy though there's nothing to worry and according to the doctor she just needs proper rest which she isn't taking however, after a lot of explaining she is now resting and probably is sound asleep and he shouldn't worry. She also told him that once Aahana is awake she will give her this news. With this their conversation ended and Riddhi was glad that her son would soon be home.

She was resting in her room when suddenly Aahana's scream startled Riddhi who immediately rushed to her room not knowing what to expect and flung the door open only to find a scared Aahana hugging her legs as close to her body as much as her baby bump would allow her. She learned that the reason for Aahana's condition was nothing but a bad dream trying her best to convince Aahana that dreams don't come true and that she shouldn't worry about it so much. After a lot of coaxing Aahana finally calmed down and when Riddhi told her that Dev is coming back the next day Aahana's happiness knew no bounds.
Riddhi then told her to have dinner and go to sleep and Aahana did exactly as Riddhi asked her waiting for the night to end and waiting to see Dev whom she missed terribly.
With thoughts of seeing her hubby soon she dozed off not aware about fate's cruel plan.
