Rudra Back in Mumbai

Rudra has resumed work though he still has a week left. However, after the conversation he had with his parents he was very upset and saw work as an excuse to take his mind off it.
So, he decided to come back to Mumbai so as to start work from the next day itself. He however had texted his sis about it and told her that he is really sorry for not being able to help her as a brother. He was not liking this sudden feeling of helplessness that he was experiencing and decided to text her instead not knowing how to face her.

He reached Mumbai resuming work the next day itself and within no time was completely absorbed in his work.
As was the scene always employees were running in and out from one department to the other when suddenly a sudden screech noise caught their attention. They soon got to know that the sound had come from the loudspeaker and soon an announcement followed which required all employees in Rudra's department to go to the board room  immediately for an urgent meeting.
Now, this they thought was nothing new and calmly went inside the board room. Mr. Agarwal and his son Dev were already seated and once all employees were seated Mr. Aryan Agarwal stood up to address them.

Aryan Agarwal:"My dear employees, this meeting was called to let you all know that we have finally managed to crack the deal that we were all working day and night for.
(All looked at each other) and Aryan Agarwal continues further.
Thus, to celebrate this happy and indeed yet another proud moment for our company we invite you all to the success party. The details have been mailed to you in the company's mail id  given to each of you so don't forget to check the invite and save the date.
Now, before we all leave my son Dev would like to say something".

Hearing this Dev took his father's place and continued.

Dev Agarwal:" Dad has told you all about the party already so guess it's now entirely on me to introduce to you all the person whose presentation impressed our clients and now onwards we will be handling all their projects. Yes, you heard it right. Well, the person is none other than Rudra Singhania our newest employee and he shall be our guest of honour at the party. All eyes post this announcement were on Rudra and he received knowing glances from both Dev and Mr. Aryan Agarwal.
After this announcement the meeting was over and all discussions now revolved around the party. Needless to say all had received a much needed break from work and thus they all looked forward to an evening filled with enjoyment away from work.

Soon, the day of the party came and Rudra being the guest of honour couldn't skip it as he would have preferred. He was left with no choice here and thus got ready for the party to reach the venue soon.
Once he reached he saw that all his colleagues were already there. He was made to meet all the important guests at the party and after the formal introduction headed to the bar to grab a drink for himself. He saw Dev there and they smiled at each other.
One thing led to another and very soon they both started talking to each other feeling so at ease in each other's company that they became friends even before the night was over.
Now, they had started spending the weekends with each other sharing everything with them.
Rudra came to know that Dev was indeed in love with a girl and this change in him that everyone in office spoke about was all because of this unknown girl.
He also came to know that when Dev had told his parents about this girl they chose to ignore it all by saying that Dev will only marry the girl chosen by them which left him heartbroken and he didn't know what to do. Rudra felt a sudden pang in his heart for he knew that the person her sister had fallen for was none other than Dev but, hearing that he loves a girl was enough to hurt him all the more.
However, when Rudra saw the girl's photo he heaved a sigh of relief for the girl was none other than Aahana. He hugged Dev and said to himself that now whatever happens he will only rest when his buddy and sis unite; praying to God to show him the way.
