Healing Her Broken Heart

We are pregnant

The Agarwals and Singhanias were really happy when they came to know that Aahana was pregnant and needless to say their happiness knew no bounds. Riddhi advised her daughter Aahana that she has to take extra care of herself, telling Aahana that she can rely on her for just anything she might need or just need someone post which she then asked Aahana to rest for sometime to which Aahana gladly agreed to.
Riddhi was taking care of Aahana just like Snighda would have done. She went with Aahana for regular checkups making sure that to do everything suggested or advised by the doctor.
Needless to say that Dev was really happy,thanking God for giving him a wife like Aahana who had made him the man he was today and who was now carrying his love inside her. He called her regularly from office to check if she has eaten on time, taking her medicines as prescribed and most importantly taking proper rest. Dev made sure that she receives the outpost care needed at this stage and was grateful to his mother. Nights that  Aahana was restless or felt weak due to morning sickness he was by her side within seconds though at times her mood swings made him go crazy but, he handled all this really well as Riddhi had told him that now since Aahana has entered her third month he would need all the patience he has as her mood swings and cravings will increase.Yes, for Aahana had started showing all the signs of pregnancy that the body undergoes during the third month. Dev assured his mother that she need not worry and just to trust him which made Riddhi smile.

Time flew by real quick or so it seemed and Aahana was now six months pregnant. Her baby bump was now fully visible to the naked eye. She had also put on weight though not a lot though but nevertheless she did need help while going down the stairs and vice versa. Aahana was enjoying all the pampering from her family and the delicious food that Riddhi made for her  making sure that Aahana is well fed at all times and also ensuring that she eats a healthy balanced meal was like an icing on a cake. Dev used to make sure that the fridge is always stocked with icecream and chocolates as God knows when she might have a sudden craving for either ice cream or chocolate.
They were really happy though Aahana at times was worried for she didn't know how she would manage with twins. Yes, she was pregnant with twins and which increased their happiness by leaps. Riddhi had also planned for a baby shower the next month or, when Aahana will be seven months pregnant.
The whole house nowadays was filled with laughter and happiness. Riddhi and Aryan couldn't have asked for anything else and were grateful to God for all the happiness coming their way.

Like they say that just when you think that life is going exactly the way you wanted it to go it takes the control back from you into it's own hands leaving you behind with a sense of despair. Dev Aahana unaware of the twist waiting for them are happy being parents.

Now, we can only wait to see what life has planned for them and how they face life.
