Dev learns the truth

P.S: Some dialogues/conversations will be in Hindi as per the situation.
An excited Dev rushes to his room straightaway once he reaches home but, the sight in front of him shatters him to pieces ie, seeing the present state of Aahana. Not knowing what to do or how to react he decides to go to his parents but, not before making his wife sit comfortably on the bed. He is glad to see that his parents are still awake along with his in-laws as he desperately wanted to know every minute details about whatever the reason might have been that caused his wife to become the way she is. Thus, not caring about the steps he literally flew down the stairs not caring for anything at the moment and once he reached down he fell to the ground sobbing, cursing himself for her condition.
Riddhi unable to see her son in this broken state somehow managed to calm him down and once she was sure that her son was now a little better she then started " Dev tu khud ko zimmedar mat maan. Kuch cheezein hamare haathon mein nahi hoti. Tum dono ki zindagi mein yeh mod aana tha aur laakh chahane ke baad bhi tum isse rok nahi sakte the. Haan par ab isse badalna sirf aur sirf tumhare upar nirbhar karta hai. Doctoron ne bhi yehi kaha hai ki Aahana ko koi karishma hi theek kar sakta hai aur woh tum ho mere bacche.
Par pehle tumhe apne dil ko majboot karna hoga kyunki yeh aasaan nahi hai. Main aur baaki sabhi log tumse hath jodkar binti karte hai ki hamari bacchi,hamari beti ko humein lauta do. Hum humari hansti,muskurati, naadan si shararat karne waali Aahana ko kahin kho chuke hai aur woh humein wapas chahiye. Please usse humein lauta do, hum kabhi phir tumse kuch nahi mangaege" and after having said all this Riddhi broke down crying.
(Dev, my child some situations or things that happens in life are not in our hands, so stop blaming yourself for whatever happened. This had to happen to you two as it was your destiny and you couldn't have gone against it. But, yes the present situation can be changed by you alone;even the doctors have told that only a miracle can make Aahana normal again and that miracle is you my son. However, before you embark on this journey you have to make yourself strong as this won't be an easy one. I can only say this along with all others is that please give us our daughter back, one who was always full of life and we will never ask you for anything our entire lives).
Dev's heart broke further seeing his mother's vulnerable state and he hugged his crying mother trying to calm her down. He could make out the tired look on her face and couldn't even imagine what she might have gone through these years. Hence, wiping away the tears from his as well as his mother's eyes he made a promise to all present that no matter what happens he will bring his Aahana correction their Aahana back from the dark place she has chosen for herself, back to where she belongs amongst family. He also told them that from any ill faith has to first meet him before even going near Aahana when suddenly he left the room which took everyone by surprise but, what he did next surprised them further for he had gone to his room and had not returned alone. His strong arms held the lifeless body of Aahana which he managed to carry with ease and much to everyone's surprise he didn't bat an eyelid.
And laying her down on the sofa he held her hands between his telling her " Jaan I don't know if you're listening but your Dev is back and this Dev will not let you be like this any longer. You have to come back to me, to your family for this is where you belong and we all need you. You are the reason we are alive; you are our reason to smile, who has given us a new life, whose smile brings sunshine into our lives,whose effervescence nature fills the whole house with new energy each day. You think that you would very conveniently continue to live the rest of your life this way?
Definitely not my love, for I swear that I shall not rest till my Aahana is back".
All this while he was just looking into her eyes but Aahana didn't even bat an eyelid and Dev who had a lump in his throat after having spoken his heart,took his wife in a hug shedding silent tears.
Snigdha laid a comforting hand on her son in law's shoulder which made him turn his head though he didn't leave Aahana making his hold on her tighten afraid of losing her and he alone knew that his life depended on it. He however knew that he had to pull her out from his embrace and he left her reluctantly post which he just glanced at everyone without speaking a word though just by looking into his eyes the message he wanted to convey to them was well received.
The message which was loud and clear ie, Making Aahana normal again and which would begin the next day itself. This bought a smile on each face and all went to their respective rooms to have a sound night's sleep after what seemed a millennium.
