Four years have passed since the dreaded day which turned their whole world upside down taking with it all the wonderful moments they were looking forward to and leaving behind nothing but a sense of hopelessness and life now seemed nothing less than a bed of thorns.
Dev was still in coma not showing any signs of improvement but, this didn't stop Riddhi from going to the hospital even if it meant just to see her son's body which right now seemed lifeless. Well, this body was once filled with life and for her it meant the whole world. The doctors had told Riddhi that though Dev is in coma she however shouldn't let this have a negative impact on her for a person can come out from coma anytime or may take several years. The doctor who was treating Dev particularly told her that luckily the brain wasn't completely dead though the way it reacted was slow. Dev could probably hear everything said to him though couldn't move or respond and this; was a really good sign of him coming back to live.
Hearing this from the doctor gave Riddhi a new hope deciding to talk to Dev like she would under normal circumstances hoping this would eventually bring him out from coma. She talked about various things to him but, the talks were mainly centered around Aahana. Riddhi was well aware that if anyone or anything could bring her son out from this state of his was none other than Aahana, who was his life. She wanted her son to be his normal self soon obviously for her but more than that herself she wanted him to be normal soon for Aahana, whose condition as per the doctor was becoming worse by the second and only a miracle could save her. Riddhi knew that the miracle the doctor was talking about was Dev and for Dev it was Aahana. Thus, she decided to use this as her weapon and at the same time hoped that God decides to end their misery by bestowing them with His love. Till then she would come to the hospital every day as she wanted to know when her prayers would be answered and she was willing to wait for it her whole life.
