Healing Her Broken Heart

Conversation between Rudra and Aahana

Rudra had completed his 6 months training successfully and was now responsible for handling projects independently.
He like any outstation boy missed home and his family a lot and planned to go back home on a leave one day.
Life, he thought was treating him really well and he was thankful for it every moment not anticipating the storm coming his way.

One day, it so happened that Rudra had just returned home totally exhausted and was about to have a good sleep when his phone rang with Aahana's number flashing on the screen.
He was really happy to have received this call wanting to hear his sis's  voice so bad that he picked it up on the second ring itself but was heartbroken hearing her sobs and all sorts of thoughts came to mind.
Somehow he calmed himself and asked Aahana to calm herself too so she could tell him everything for which she had called him in the first place itself.

Their conversation follows below

Rudra: "Hey sissy, how's life( trying to calm her even more)? Please stop crying as you are making me scared. Hope mom and dad are fine".
Aahana: " Yes bro they all are fine infact everything is exactly like how you left it except your sissy whose life is a total mess.
I have called you bro hoping to get some answers that I don't have and hopefully to stop my heart from beating at a very pulsating rate.
(Stammering at times)
E.v.ery.thing was going as planned until, until he came into my life.
He is p.ro.b.ab.ly the m.o.s.t h-handsome man I have s-seen and I curse the day w-when I met him.

(Gulps some water and seems much calmer now).
Bro he is a Greek God with dark black unkempt hair, tall lean built body, dreamy eyes in which one can get lost easily and his voice did the make me go weak in my knees trick with his husky voice."
Rudra: " Wow! sissy you are in love and I am so happy for you. Tell me everything you know about him".
Aahana:" Bro, I just know his name and where he stays. I know this might sound unreasonable to you that your sissy is madly in love with a boy she doesn't know anything about nor does she know whether he loves her.
But, what can I do. My heart has stopped listening to me and just beats with his name filled in every cell of my body. He is Dev Agarwal and stays in Mumbai. That's just what I happen to know about him".
Rudra:(shocked but, has to stay calm for his sister)" Seriously you are insane. I mean you practically know nothing about him leave aside he loving you or not and there you are shedding your precious tears over someone who might not even be with crying over. Have you spoken to mom and dad about this. Wait I am sure you haven't.
Don't worry. I will try to come home as soon as I can and speak to them first. Hope you are ok with that?"
Aahana squeals like a child hearing this and they decide to end the conversation on a happy note wishing each other good night.

Whew! Finally Aahana has realized her feelings. Now the love story depends upon Dev's realization and which will be revealed soon.
