LYDIA'S P.O.V
It took a little while for the shock to pass through my body for my instincts to kick in, grasping Kira's hands I directed her aim into the air as she let out two shots that broke through the dirt and wood grafted together on the ceiling. Hopefully getting somebodies attention.
I managed to get my knee up and hit Kira in her stomach, she released the gun and crumpled too the floor with a groan of pain. My next move was too strike her in the face with the hardest part of my shoe but unfortunately I was forced into a choke hold by the muscle that was once on the floor behind me. Kira was back up off of the floor, clenching her fists too send some punches too my stomach.
"No please!" My tone was pleading, I had never found myself too be the begging type. The way I was raised ultimately was too be a fighter but when it came too the possible hurt of my unborn child, I would take all directions to move out of harms way. "I'm pregnant."
The force on my throat had been released and the look of Kira's face had changed in a way I didn't really understand.
"You're lying. William told us the nurse at his establishment had aborted your child." She finally spoke, claiming her gun from beside my feet. "That baby you had, is dead."
"No, no you don't understand. The nurse was against abortion. My bump isn't that prominent, I'm not that far along but - it's there."
Kira nodded her head toward me as some kind of instruction too the man behind as he took my arms into a tight hold and tugged me so I was standing too my side, he raised my shirt, keeping it modest, but showing my small bump to Kira.
"Well then, William is going too pay us real swell. We'll get two jobs done in one." The man behind me chuckled, yet Kira remained unfazed by his words. She didn't have the gun aimed at me anymore, she was just sort of staring at my stomach. "Come on Kira, what the hell are you waiting for let's get this done with."
"Is William even alive? Don't you think you should question that. Think about it, if he isn't and you kill me. You'll have no protection. You'll die in a more gruesome way than I would have. Especially if you kill my child along with me, I can guarantee Stiles will show you no mercy. Whereas if you just let me go, redemption just might be yours. How has William promised survival in all of this, he doesn't care about you, Derek sacrificed some of your own people isn't that enough of a wake up call that he doesn't care about you either. Stiles, he cares, about his people. He would die for them if he had too. If it was the last straw. He welcomed you into his base, one of his homes and you betrayed that. Maybe you people aren't realising you're the bad guys here. Not Stiles."
"You wanna go down the bad guy route. Stiles has being leading murder, drugs, anything illegal you can think of for years now! Yes, maybe it was out of bad guidance from his father but it doesn't disregard the girl he shot live on TV, nor does it all the people who he killed before you came into his life. Stiles has too pay and we will too eventually, I know that." Kira begun her own speech, structuring perfectly good arguments against mine. "The lack of love Stiles had as a child is part of his psychopath tendencies okay and it's sad it really is, I think so too but not all the kids who are brought up with no love - turn out too be the monster he is. He could have easily cut off his father and lived a peaceful life okay."
"Cutting off his father would have meant leaving this gang, ultimately leaving a gang means you die. If Stiles did somehow escape as a child, what makes you think the next person too lead would have been better? He could've made this place worst. The only reason Stiles is fighting back now is because you put money on him and everyone he cares about. The only reason he is being violent is because you want too kill his family! That is making yourselves just as bad as you think he is okay. Besides, those thoughts that his father put into his head have gone, even though he still has the same beliefs about all the unfair taxes the less fortunate have to pay and guess what - that's on your little government too. Where would you be now huh Kira? In college? Could you of afforded that? If so you are very, very lucky but others, probably more deserving, wouldn't of been able too. That's were Void came in, they just took the wrong approach at first that is all. You can't fight violence with violence. People have died on both sides, probably an even amount. Stiles has saved people as well. Your people and-"
