My annoying phone alarm disturbs me from my slumber to inform me that I have to get up so that I'm not late to my first class of the day.
College is so exhausting and I never get enough sleep, especially when I have to wake up at 6 to get to my 7 o'clock class, in the freaking morning. What kind of professor wants to torture us with super early classes? Oh, yes, that's right, freaking dental and science professors. Obviously they never sleep and are like nocturnal or something, because early class times only impact the students, apparently.
I attempt to crawl out of my bed so I can go take a shower to hopefully wake me up.
I take a shower, brush my teeth, and do my usual business, along with throwing on a pair of leggings, a Simply Southern shirt, and my black pair of chucks.
My shower did nothing and I could easily just fall asleep on the way to class. Thankfully, there's a Starbucks on my way to my first class of the day, organic chemistry.
I looked for roommate, Emma, but I guess she already left for anatomy class.
I guess colleges put similar majors living together, because multiple students, like Emma and I, live in a dorm that is quick walking distance to the School of Biochemistry, School of Dentistry, and the hospital that our college runs.
My roommate, Emma, wants to become a chiropractor, while I want to become a dentist (weird, I know), but I'm thankful for Emma going into the medical field because we can help each other with assignments and so forth.
I head off to Starbucks and almost fall asleep in the line because it was taking forever.
I get my coffee and head off to my class that starts in 5 minutes. I walk quickly to my class so that I can drink my coffee without being late. I would run, but then I wouldn't be able to drink my coffee.
I make it to my class with two minutes to spare. I head off to my desk in the back of the lab and pull out my notes from the previous day. Students randomly fill in the lab after I showed up, some were really close to being late. My lab partner, Chris, showed up ten seconds before the bell rings and the professor walks in.
"Good morning. Get your lab coats and goggles on." Our professor instructs us before he starts our 2 hour long class.
