Kai Keats walked up to his girlfriend he had previously accused of cheating on him and tapped on her shoulder.
She turned back to face him and smiled.
He gave her the red tulips he had brought with him and apologized.
"I'm sorry I accused you of something you never did."
"Or better, both of us didn't."
"Dr. Abuto told me that we'd both got herpes from maybe sitting on public toilets or sharing some infected persons clothes, utensils, or anything, you know."
"So forgive me," he said.
"I forgive you," she said as she admired the bouquet of red tulips he had got for her.
