I look at Cynthia every now and then and wonder how strong she could get even after suffering so much. From the pain, bullying, emotional harassment, teasing but mostly her cancer which seemed to affect her life both physically and mentally.
She had saved me and Julie on the first day of school after summer break had ended from Stacy Underwood.
She was new to our school and she'd befriended me and Julie.
I couldn't get more delighted than that knowing that she was my best friend but then...
There was something nobody in school knew about her except me, herself and Julie.
