A hoe friend is not a whore friend or prostitute friend. Or so it would seem if we stuck with the original meaning.
It's a word that I've coined in order to describe the trend of our generation. In the 21th century, our generation, a hoe is another term used to designate someone you think will snatch your boyfriend away from you. You're jealous and intimated of her because you think she is capable of stealing your boyfriend away from you and the perfect replacement of you if you happened to break up. She's your boyfriend's best friend but the truth is you don't want them to be friends. You're afraid it would turn into more than just friends so you call her a hoe.
It's always a she. You don't call a man a hoe after all.
A person who shows such impulsive behavior to call another girl a hoe is not the prima donna he/she thinks they are. You're just freaking possessive, nothing extra.
