I had two best friends at school; Haley Mathieson and Julie Vanderflock.

They were my only friends at school and also the only two to know of my sickness. I'd met them on the first day of school and we'd instantly become friends after I'd save them from Stacy. Stacy always liked to bully girls she thought appeared weaker from outside. Most of the time she was right. But not at all times. I remember going up to help them when they were being bullied by Stacy and standing up for them. Stacy didn't like me standing up to her but she nevertheless went away. I'd turned to them and asked them not to be scared of Stacy anymore. At least not give her the justification she needed. I'd told them to be strong. To stand up for yourself. Just like my grandpa told me. Then even queen bee Stacy couldn't do anything.

There's this really confidential secret between the three of us. Mainly between Haley Mathieson and Julie Vanderflock but I'd come to know of it sooner or later. Haley and Julie had confidential nicknames for Cyrus and me. I remember asking them why they were so interested in Cyrus and me. They told me the truth. They were not interested in Cyrus and me but the topic of me and Cyrus together as a couple. That was another brutal yet fascinating shock I'd received from my friends.

Apparently Haley and Julie had been rooting for me and Cyrus to be a couple and not Cyrus and Stacy. I'd asked them why. The answer I'd received would somehow unknowingly turn into something I'd never perceive.

They said that we were the sun and the moon itself.

He was the sun since he had blonde hair while I was the moon since I had white hair.

I remember shaking off their thinking and calling it bullshit.

But it looked like there were other things in store for me.
