"The stranger by Albert Camus," Emrys says out loud while fiddling with his fingers.

"I also read the book and thought it was awesome."

Tansy felt like she was being watched and she knew there was someone standing behind her from her peripheral vision. She waited for the person standing behind her to say something.

And when the person finally spoke, she turned around to face this person only to be greeted with the utmost shock and terror which she had never felt until now in her entire diurnal course of life.

There he was standing in front of her. Smiling sheepishly at her and occasionally swaying his feet from left to right on the pier.

She stood there staring at him. And he stood there staring at her.

A staring contest was going on between the two of them until one of them had found the guts to speak again.

Emrys trembling a little said, "Nice book you got there."

"Emrys King! I'll be damned," thought Tansy.

"I'll have to speak or he'll think am crazy!"

"Speak! Tansy. Speak! For freaking goodness!"

Tansy took a deep and long breath. Take three breaths in and three breaths out. This was a sort of her own mantra.

Tansy trembling a little bit said, "Death is no fiend, he is the truest of friends. He delivers us from agony."

Tansy was starting to have cold feet because of the celebrity standing in front of her.

Her heart was beating wildly and acting like crazy.

"Albert Camus, right?" replied Emrys though he hadn't even seen by far even read the book before. But he thought that the quote that she had just quoted had to be from the book she was holding in her hand.

Emrys looked at her and found her grinning from ear to ear.

Tansy wanted to laugh at his cute response, to just laugh away her nervous energy but she controlled it by grinning. She knew that a famous star like him wouldnt be reading a book like the one she was holding in her hand. But at least he tried. Plus point for that. And not everyone knew about the great Mahatma Gandhi so

She broke the silence and immediately replied, "Mahatma Gandhi.'

Emrys suddenly felt idiotic for having chosen the book as a way to start off a conversation.

"Bad move Emrys," he thought to himself as he hit himself gently on the head with his right hand.

He watched her as she made her way around him to walk away.

"Nice meeting you, stranger!" Tansy said turning her head slightly to look at Emrys and walked off grinning.
