"Is something wrong between the two of you Amica?" asked Amica's mother, Mrs. Khalil looking suspiciously at Amica and Jonathan who were not even looking at each other and purposely avoiding eye contact.
"Everything's fine Mom," muttered Amica.
"You know I've been noticing that you and Jonathan are not hanging and getting along like you used to before. Like old times?" asked Jonathan's mother, Mrs. Wilson.
"Yeah!" agreed Mrs. Khalil.
"Amica's been hanging out more with her girl friends and does not even go to Mrs. Loveson's place anymore. Wasn't that place a sort off a hangout place for you guys?" asked Mrs. Khalil.
"Yes it was," muttered Amica.
"But now it's not," said Amica looking at her mother and throwing death glares.
"Can we stop this now?"
"Is it because Jonathan got a new girlfriend sweetheart?" asked Mrs. Wilson reaching her hand across the table to grab Amica's hand and start stroking it.
"No it's not Mrs. Wilson. It's because I've decided that there are certain turnovers you must make in life because if you don't-"
Amica looked at Jonathan in the eye and said, "You'll regret it for the rest of your lives."
