Susannah's POV

I woke up the next morning and packed all of my bags. I took them downstairs and sat with Marshall and Cash for a bit before Tyler came down the stairs wearing a perfectly tailored suit. It was awkward between us, but it was tolerable.

"Hey." I smile

"Hey." He echoed as Jamie walks in wearing a suit as well.

"Where are you two going?" I laugh as I get up

"A funeral after we drop you off." He explains and I nod

"I'm sorry." I sigh and Tyler nods

"Alright. Let's go. We don't want you being late because you needed your Starbucks. Mom would kill me if you didn't make your flight." Jamie laughs and Susannah smiles. We go to the airport and they get my bags out of the car.

"I love you both." I sigh as they give me a group hug, "I'll see you two in Boston. I'll be the girl in the obnoxious green." I laugh teasing them a bit

"Shut up. It's victory green." Tyler laughs

"I know. I'll see you two." I smile before I walk off smiling. I get my bag checked before I go through security.

I get home where my mom and dad are waiting for me. I hug them tightly as my dad grabs my bag and we go home.

"How was the trip?" My mom asks

"Good. I was offered a scholarship." I say smiling

"That's my girl." My dad laughs as he doesn't look away from the road

"We'll have to fly down to Dallas more then." My mom laughs as we go home. We have off of school tomorrow, so I just wanted to go to the mall with Cassidy. I unpacked my bag before I look around my room imagining going to college in the fall.

"You home?" Cassidy texts me

"Yes. Come get me!" I reply and ten minutes later she's here. I tell my mom and dad where I'm going before I leave.

"Hey!" I giggle as we hug each other

"Hey." She smiles before she drives off, "How was Dallas?" She asks

"Amazing." I sigh

"How was the guy?"

"Cassidy." I groan not wanting to talk about it scared I'd let it slip it was Tyler.

"All the details." She smiles
"It was good." I say

"Sus!"

"Cass!" I repeat

"Fine. I'll get it out of you tonight." I smile nervously and we get out. We were mainly looking for prom dresses. We had prom in a few weeks, well really the night before we flew out to Boston. We had dates, Cassidy had her boyfriend from freshmen year, and I was going with his best friend.

I finally find the perfect dress. It was black and made my body look amazing.

Cassidy decides on a grey dress that looks amazing on her as well. We buy the dresses and go back to my house before booking all of our nail appointments. I was good at makeup and she was good at hair, so we always just switched for the night.

"What aren't you telling me about Dallas?" She asks as she looks up from the movie we were watching on my TV half way through

"Nothing." I laugh lying

"I know there's something." She sighs and I smile weakly.

"Honestly I just miss Marshall and Cash." I laugh and she nods in agreement.
"I know the feeling." She sighs before we fall asleep on my bed for the night.
