Chapter 38

       

Susannah's POV

"Thank you for helping me pack." I laugh as Kyle helps me put everything in my bags for the weekend trip.

"Yeah. I just want to spend time with you." He laughs as we kiss before my phone goes off.

"I'm here." Jamie says and I smile

"I'll be down in 5." I say

"Okay." He hangs up and I kiss Kyle.

"Come out with me?" I smile as I grab my purse and we go outside. I put my bag in his trunk and I hug Kyle.

"I'll see you on Sunday." He laughs as we kiss and I nod, "I love you."

"Love you too." I smile before he goes back up and I get into the car.

"So you and lover boy?" Jamie raises an eyebrow

"Shut it." I laugh, "We're happy." I say as I look out the window

"Sounds like you're trying to convince yourself." He shrugs

"Tyler and I are not getting together anytime soon." I sigh as he drives off, "So get that out of your head."

"I didn't say any names."

"We both know what you're referring to."

"Fine." He groans, "You two are perfect together."

"Stay out of my relationships." I say as we get to a restaurant.

"Susannah. You know I love you. You're just so much happier with Tyler."

"I know." I sigh as we sit down

"You know what?" He asks

"That I'm happier with Ty." I say and he laughs a bit

"When are you going to break it off with Kyle then?"

"I don't know."

"Jesus. Seriously?"

"Yes. I don't know. We're going to try to stay together. I don't want to hurt him."

"You're going to make it worse."

"Maybe. We'll see."

"Susannah." He sighs

"I'm talking to mom. You're obviously biased."

"Biased how?"

"He's your best friend. You want him to be happy."

"Yeah, but I also want what's best for you."

"They're conflicting goals. Just stay out of it until I figure everything out."

"Fine." He shrugs. We eat just talking about hockey until we leave and go to the airport. Girls swarm him as we go through security. We arrive just as the final call is being made for the flight. We get on and I get the window seat. I put on a movie and fell asleep curled up in my seat.

"Hey." Jamie nudges me as we had landed

"Hey." I yawn as I get up and we grab our bags before we quickly leave. Jordie and Jenny were waiting by the baggage claim. After our quick hello we all just wanted to go to sleep so we went to Jordie's house.

"You all have your own rooms. Just do whatever you want." Jordie yawns before he goes to his room. I go into the first room I saw and got ready for bed before I quickly passed out.

We all woke up early and went to the gym together.

"How cute. You brought all of your siblings?" Jordie's trainer, Harry, laughed
