Chapter 50

Susannah's POV

After class, I drove straight to Tyler's house as the other girls still had other things to do before they could come over. I got inside and dropped everything off as I went to pet Marshal. I was not currently responding to Tyler. He had called me about 10 times, left 9 voicemails, and sent about 50 texts. He knew he fucked up, but it was whatever.

I get another call as I know they should be going to the arena. I sigh as I decide to answer.

"Susannah?" I hear him ask

"Yeah. What's up?" I ask as I rub Marshall's stomach

"Are you mad at me?" He asks curiously

"I don't know. I have no right to be." I laugh and sigh, "Honestly it's whatever."

"Clearly it's not." He points out

"Maybe. It's fine. You have a game." I laugh weakly

"Yeah I do, but you're more important."

"Stop Tyler. I'll see you tonight or tomorrow." I say

"Whatever. We'll talk tonight. I'll text you when we land. Just spend the night at my house."

"Yeah. I was going to. We can talk then."

"Great. I'll see you then."

"See you." I sigh as I hang up.

"Susannah!" Cassidy yells as she walks in and I see Charlie

"Hey baby." I giggle as I get up and hug her.

"You know Charlie right?" She asks

"Yes I do." I smile

"Jamie and Jordie's little sister?" He asks

"That's me." I laugh as he gives me a high five

"Honestly you have balls for fucking Seggy."

"We dated for almost six months." I laugh as Cassidy groans

"I don't want to talk about this." She pouts

"Fine, but I have so many questions, and we never talked while we were in Miami. Can we talk in an hour?" He laughs and I roll my eyes

"Sure." I nod

"We're going up to my room." She smiles

"Alright. Just be out when they land. Tyler said you weren't allowed to come over. OH, and there's cameras, so he'll know you were here." I say and he laughs

"For sure." He laughs as they run up the stairs. I sigh as I turn on the pregame and take Marshall and Cash for a quick walk. I sigh as I walk back inside and let the dogs off of their leashes. They run over to the water and I get their food out.

I go back to the living room and turn on the Canadiens' game while I wait for the other one to start.

"Hey. Did you order food?" Charlie asks as he walks down in his sweatpants and shirtless. I roll my eyes as I turn around laughing

"No. You and Cass can go out and get some if you so please." I say

"Fine. Whatever. So I have like a ton of questions." He starts and I sigh

"I'll answer three." I say and he groans

"Fine. Alright. Give me a minute." He sighs as he rubs his face thinking, "Can I consult other people in on this?"

"Oh my God!" I laugh, "No. Who's curious?" I ask

"Um, let me think." He sighs jokingly, "Literally anyone who has ever played with your brother or Tyler. Oh! And a few weirdos. Plus a few of the guys on the teams where your current beau might play."
