Chapter 33

Susannah's POV

Tyler and I every night would talk for an hour about how everything was going. I knew he was doing some counseling in Canada, and I was happy for him.

"What are you doing tonight?" He asks me as I lay in bed.

"Well I should be getting ready. Me and a few girls are going out." I say as I play with the sheets.

"Where?" He laughs

"Connor's apartment. We'll all end up spending the night there. Kyle's away at a game." I say sighing as I knew he'd ask that next

"Well, be safe."

"We will. Shit. We're leaving apparently." I laugh as my phone buzzes, "I'll talk to you tomorrow." I say

"Sounds good." I hang up before I grab the keys and head down to the car.

"Hey." I smile as I meet all of the girls in the lobby.

"So, how's Tyler? He's not replying to my texts." Cassidy asks me as I drive while Megan, Cadyn, and Clarissa are in the back talking happily

"Good. He's working through some stuff." I say

"And Kyle?"

"We haven't talked today." I shrug, "He's been super busy though."

"Yeah huh." Cassidy rolls her eyes

"What?" I ask

"Does Kyle know you two talk every night for hours at a time?"

"No. We're just friends, so does it matter? Do I have to tell him when I call my parents?" I ask

"No. It's just weird." She shrugs

"Alright." I laugh weakly before we get over to Connor's place. I park in one of his many spots before we go up to his floor.

"One week left ladies." Cadyn laughs as we all do a round of shots. I really missed Jamie. I didn't feel like this was something I should talk to him over the phone about, but I could always count on him to help me figure stuff out. I still wasn't sure what I wanted to do about the whole Tyler situation.

We end up with White Claws just gossiping about everyone at SMU or the WAGs. I knew stuff that they didn't know, and they knew stuff I didn't know so we all shared information.

"Alright. So here's the biggest scoop. You girls aren't supposed to know. Jamie told me because he was freaking out about his responsibility or what he should do. Ben Bishop is gay." Clarissa says and all of our mouths drop open, "He told him when Jamie asked why he's not showing up to optional stuff, it's because he's trying to figure out what he and this guy is. The guy goes to TCU. He's a senior, and they met at hot yoga."

"That's so wonderful." Megan smiles before we get a text that Hannah's outside. I go run down to get her and we quickly come back up.

"Alright, let's play never have I ever." Cassidy says and we all agree before we each get a shot to take once it's our turn. I laugh as we all sit around the table giggling.

"Okay. Never have I ever blown a guy in a car." Cadyn says before both Megan and I take the shot.

"Spill! Wait, you have?" Cassidy asks me shocked, "I seriously thought I knew everything about you." She laughs

"Yeah. There were things I didn't tell you about because I was dating your brother." I say as I refill my shot glass.

"Right. Ew. Ew!" She laughs before we continue on with the game. Eventually it gets to my turn.
