Chapter 28

Susannah's PO

The break went by nicely, and soon it was game day in Montreal. Both of our families were waiting to do Christmas until everyone was together. So we'd just have a large combined Christmas at Jordie's house.

Our parents let Cassidy and I go on an earlier flight, the day before, so we could all hang out. Jenny was even flying in from Vancouver.

We arrived in Montreal and I got a call from Kyle.

"Hey." I smile as Cassidy and I walk out

"Hey. What are you up to?" He asks

"I just landed in Montreal. What about you?" I ask

"I got home an hour ago, and thought I'd call you." He says

"Yeah, we're good. How was the flight?" I ask as we follow the guy holding the Seguin sign.

"Good. I'm only home for a few days before I fly back down to Dallas, but I wanted to come home."

"Yeah. I understand." I laugh

"So what are you up to today?"

"Well Cassidy and I are going to go clubbing tonight, and then tomorrow, sleep until the game, after the game we're going to Jordie's house for Christmas, and then after all of that we're flying back to Toronto."

"Wow. I really need to go to Canada." He laughs

"Yeah. One day." I smile to myself

"Alright, well my mom wants to go bake cookies now. I will call you later?"

"Sounds great. Bye." I laugh as I hang up

"How's lover boy?" Cassidy asks me as the driver takes us to the hotel.

"He's good. Baking cookies with his mom. I think they're really close because every time we talk his mom wants to do something." I laugh

"Yikes. That's a problem waiting to happen." She smiles and I roll my eyes. We get to the hotel where the rest of the Stars were staying.

"When does your flight get in?" I text Jamie

"We land in about an hour. Wait for us to go out." He texts back right away

"Jamie says we need to wait for them to go out." I laugh as we go to our room.

"That is fair." Cassidy sighs as we sit on the bed. We decide to get ready then.

Three hours later, there's a knock on our door.

"Jamie!" I laugh as he hugs me before hugging Cassidy.

"Alright. So here's the plan. Jenny is arriving in an hour. We're getting her and then going straight to the clubs!" He laughs. We get to the airport and pick her up. Jamie tells her the plan and she bursts out laughing

"I'm not going to the club with you guys. I'd rather relax in my day away from a screaming baby." She smiles, "Have a nice night with a bottle of wine, not get drunk."

"Alright." He shrugs before taking her to the hotel. She gets out before the driver takes us to get Jordie. I squeal as I get out to hug him.

"Susannah." He smiles as he kisses my head

"I missed you." I laugh

"I missed you too." He smiles before we get into the car. We go to the club and we immediately get in.

"Shots!" Cassidy squeals and we run over to the bar. We take a few before we go back to the VIP area. The two of us end up having a lot of fun.

"Where's Liam?" I ask
