Chapter 64

Susannah's POV

"Hey. How was practice?" Kyle asks as he walks into my gym as I'm walking out

"Fine. Do you have my stuff?" I ask a little coldly

"Yeah. What's up?" He asks, "Why couldn't I have just sent it?"

"We need to talk." I sigh

"Why?"

"I know about Jessica." I say as I put my gear into my car

"What are you talking about?" He asks

"I've been talking with Jessica. She told me everything." I say as I lean against the car

"Can we talk about this?" He begs

"No. I'm so frustrated. I leave for school tomorrow, and you've been cheating on me this entire time!" I start to cry, "No. You were cheating on her with me. I can't believe I was so fucking stupid." I say as I wipe my tears not wanting him to see me cry, but I was so frustrated.

"Susannah." He sighs

"Can you be honest with me?"

"Yes. Anything."
"Did you ever love me?"

"I love you so much. I love both of you."
"I can't do this." I say, "We're over."

"So I flew out here for nothing?"

"I wasted my entire freshmen year and summer on you." I sniffle as I get into my car, "I'll drive you back to the airport."

"Thanks." He sighs as he gets in and we sit in silence as I take him back, "Who knows?"

"Jessica told Jamie." I say and he groans knowing exactly what's going to happen.

"Come on. We shouldn't be playing against each other if he's obviously going to have it out for me."

"I wouldn't be worried about Jamie." I shake my head as I drive faster wanting to get him out of my car.

"What are you saying? Are you threatening me?"

"I'm not saying anything. I'll tell them not to hit you, but hey if they want to they're adults." I say as I pull to the airport.

"I won't play those games then."

"Whatever. You're an asshole."

"So we're over?"

"Yes we're over!" I groan as he opens up the door and I give him the ring, "I don't want this."
"Whatever." He takes it and goes back into the airport.

I drive home and call Cassidy to get her. I end up taking a long shower and going to her house.

"What are you two doing?" Tyler asks laughing, "Aren't you both supposed to be clean eating for the season?"

"Yes. This is an exception though." Cassidy says as I eat my ice cream

"Why?" He asks as he sits down next to us

"Kyle was cheating on me." I sniffle as I eat it

"Holy fuck. What?" He asks as he sits down with us

"Kyle had another girlfriend the entire time we were dating." I say as I eat my ice cream

"So, what does he expect when he plays the Stars and Canadiens?"

"He's going to ask to sit out."
"I don't fucking care. I'll still beat his ass wherever. Have you told Jamie and Jordie?"

"Jamie knows because Kyle's other girlfriend talked to him."
