Chapter 61

Susannah's POV

"What are you doing?" I get the call from Cassidy as I wake up

"I need to go to the gym. Let's go." I laugh as I get up and get changed. I grab my car keys before I leave. I drive quickly to her house where she's waiting for me.

"So, what are you up to?" She asks as she gets into her car

"Well, Jamie proposed last night." I laugh

"For real?"

"Yeah." I nod laughing, "They're so cute." I sigh

"I love that." She smiles

"Speaking of boys and vacation. How was Greece?"

"Amazing. I don't know how much longer we're going to stay together though. He's just so far away." She sighs and shrugs, "We both need a lot of attention."

"I'm sorry Cass." I sigh

"Me too. I was hoping for this to be long term."
"I know." We get to the gym and do our workout, "Who's at my car?" I laugh as I see the back of a guy leaning against my car, "Hello?" I laugh as I get there and Kyle turns around.

"Surprise!" He laughs and I squeal before I run to him and wrap my legs around his waist as he hugs me tightly.

"I'm sorry I smell bad. I missed you so much." I laugh as we make out.

"No. You're fine. I surprised you." He laughs as I hug him tightly. He sets me down and I laugh

"What are you doing here?" I ask

"The draft is next week. Thought we could hang out." He smiles

"Yeah." I nod quickly laughing

"Just take me home. I'll leave you alone for the next week." Cassidy laughs as we get into the car. I drive off and we all talk. We drop her off at her house before we go to mine.

"My parents are at work for the day." I laugh as I set the keys down before we make out again, "I need to take a shower." I smile

"Yeah. I'll hang out in your room." He laughs as we go upstairs. I smile as we make out once we're back in my room before I go to take a shower. I try to take as fast of a shower as possible before I walk out.

"So, what is on your schedule?" I ask as I tie my robe and get onto my bed next to him.

"I have a lot of hockey this week, but I'm free after 7 every day." He laughs and I smile

"Who wanted to see more of you?" I ask knowing he really wasn't here for me, but it was a perk.

"Islanders. I think they're going to sign me."

"Okay." I nod as he kisses me, "When is your family coming up?"

"Next Wednesday."

"Alright." I nod

"I would invite you back to my hotel, but I have a roommate." He laughs and I nod

"I know. Jamie and Tyler had roommates too." I smile, "We can just hang out here or whatever."

"You're the best." I giggle as he kisses me again and we get more into it before there's a knock on my door.

"Yeah?" I ask

"Can I come in?" I hear Tyler ask and Kyle rolls his eyes as he pulls out his phone. I fix my robe a bit before I look over at Kyle who's completely out of it now
