Chapter 52

Clarissa's POV

Jamie's parents had basically learned everything there is to know about me by the time we got to the arena.

"Hey." Susannah smiles as she meets us as soon as we walk in the VIP area.

"Hey." I laugh as she smiles before hugging her parents.

"I love you guys." She smiles

"How much more did you drink?" Randy asks laughing

"Nothing. Just thank you for being relaxed." She smiles as we walk to the box where the Seguins already are. I go over with Cassidy, Candace, Susannah, and Jenny as they are all gathered around Cassidy's phone

"So, Tyler's being really fucking annoying." Cassidy starts and Susannah groans and she gives her a look,"You're not having sex with him. He's fucking annoying, and your little issue with him is not helping." She continues, "Anyways, do I pull out Charlie's jersey? We're dating." She laughs

"Oh my God." Susannah gasps

"Are you for real?" Candace continues

"The fuck?" Jenny asks confused

"Oh my God." I repeat

"Stop acting like it's this huge deal. Should I tell Tyler?" She asks and they all burst out laughing

"He already knows you two are hooking up. I'd be surprised if he didn't get put in the penalty box for something against him." Candace says laughing, "They're literally allowed to be violent here only. I'd watch it." She says

"Now I'm nervous." Susannah groans

"Why?" Cassidy asks laughing

"Because Tyler and I are talking again." She sighs, "And if he gets kicked out of this game, he's going to lose his shit."

"Oh Jesus." Candace groans, "You two need to keep it in your pants."

"I know." They both agree

"But like also, good job on getting the boys with the best salaries." Jenny laughs and Candace agrees, "You too Clarissa. You're all very smart, but stupid girls. You're not problematic Clarissa." Jenny smiles and I laugh

"Thank you." I smile

"Oh no. At the beginning, their relationship was so problematic." Susannah laughs and I groan

"For real. How'd you two really meet? I heard her bullshit story." Jenny smiles

"He slid into my DMs." I laugh

"Oh my God. Our brother has game?" She asks Susannah and she nods laughing

"I know. It's wild. He's also an idiot and did some fucked up things." She fills in

"Like what?"

"He took girls' phone numbers while they were just hooking up."

"I'm shook. And now he's proposing." Jenny sighs before cursing

"Oh. I already know. He asked Susannah to slyly ask what rings I like." I laugh, "And he's flying down from Toronto over the summer to go to Disney with my family. Something's up there."

"Oh. Good. I was about to cry." Jenny laughs

"Don't worry. He's so bad at keeping secrets. I literally know where the ring is. Like you're all good." I laugh

"I mean at least you know he won't cheat on you." She shrugs

"That's so true." I agree as they go onto the ice.
