Chapter 12

Susannah's POV

I hug Tyler's chest as I wake up and he kisses my head softly.

"You feeling okay?" He asks as he rubs my back slowly

"Yeah." I nod as I sit up a bit

"Alright." He smiles before we make out for a bit. He rubs my side as he pulls me into him more.

"When are we getting breakfast?" Cassidy asks as she walks in and sits on the bed. The dogs join us and jump on the bed.

"We can go now." Tyler sighs as we pull away

"Can Clarissa and Jamie come? I really liked her." She says

"Yeah. I'll call him. They're probably together." He laughs as he calls Jamie. They talk for about five minutes before they decide on a restaurant.

"We'll get ready." Cassidy says as she leaves.

"Okay we have like five minutes." Tyler smiles and I laugh shaking my head before I get out of the bed and go into his closet. I throw his sweatshirt in the hamper before grabbing another from his drawer. Tyler went into his bathroom to take a quick shower before Cassidy came in.

"I wanted a sweatshirt." She laughs as she grabs another one from his closet.

"What is with you girls and sweatshirts?" Tyler calls from the shower.

"We love them." I laugh and he turns the shower off.

"That's my cue to leave. I will be downstairs with the dogs." She laughs as she leaves. Tyler walks into the closet with a towel wrapped around his waist. We kiss softly before he gets ready. I then start doing my makeup in the mirror. I pull my hair into a messy bun before he kisses my cheek.

"Let's go." He says and I nod before we leave.

Cassidy sits in the back and I play with Tyler's fingers as he drives. We get to the restaurant and I get out when I see Jamie walking in.

"I don't like this." I say softly as I look up at Tyler.

"We'll talk about this later. Just be nice." Tyler says as he wraps his arm around me while we walk in.

"Hey." Jamie smiles as he sees us. Tyler removes his arm and I hug Jamie.

"Hey." I smile at Clarissa and we move to a table. I sit down and Cassidy sits on one side and Tyler on the other.

We talk for a while getting to know each other and eventually I started to warm up to the idea of her.

We finish eating and Jamie pays laughing.

"Hey Tyler. Can you take Cassidy and Clarissa back to campus? Sus and I need to talk." Jamie says as we walk out. They get into his car and I get into Jamie's.

"Hey." I smile weakly as he drives us to his house. We go inside and I sit on his couch. He hands me a bottle of water and I take a slow drink.

"What's wrong?" He asks as we sit on the couch

"Nothing. I think I'm just homesick." I sigh

"That's not it Susannah." He says and I shake my head.

"I really like her Jamie." I sigh as I look into his eyes, "I know how happy she makes you. Why won't you date her?"

"That's what this is about? My relationship?" He laughs as I take a drink of water.

"We've talked a few times and I like her." I sigh, "She likes you too. You know how jealous she was when she saw us together? I would go for it. I just don't like how you're playing with her."
