Chapter 25

Jamie and I went to the gym in the morning of Thanksgiving. They had off today, for all of the Americans.

"So dinner at 5 with Jason and Cadyn. Maybe Cassidy and Tyler." He tells me on the drive home

"Why isn't Tyler going to Carly's Thanksgiving?" I ask as I drink some water

"Her family is conservative. Have you seen him? He literally has a picture with Bill Clinton on his Instagram. He has more tattoos than I do." He asks laughing

"Yeah." I nod laughing, "Why aren't you with Clarissa? She's American."

"Well, I'm meeting her parents in February. She'll come home for that game. We just didn't want to rush anything." He says

"Cute." I smile

"When are you meeting Kyle's family? He's American." He teases me

"We're not even official yet." I laugh

"Yet." He emphasizes

"Thanks." I roll my eyes as we get home. I go take a long bath watching some old episodes of The Office while I relax. I get out once the water becomes cold and see that Kyle had called me. We talked once a day for like an hour at at time while he was gone. I was pretty sure he was going to ask me out once he came back, but I wasn't positive.

I put on some sweatpants and a sweatshirt before I went downstairs to eat lunch. I then got ready for dinner. We were going to a nicer restaurant so I put on a nice dress and booties with a heel.

"Let's go!" I laugh as I waited by the bottom of the stairs. Jamie always took significantly longer than I did.

"I'm coming." He sighs as he runs down the stairs, "You're driving. I want to drink there." He says and I roll my eyes as I go to the door and grab the G-Wagon keys, "If you kill us, I will kill you again in the afterlife."

"You're going to hell, and I'm going to heaven, so you won't be able to reach me." I laugh as I fix the seat for me.

"Thanks idiot." He laughs as I drive to the restaurant. We go inside and I smile as I see Cadyn and I in the same dress.

"I love your dress." She giggles and I laugh as we hug.

"It was a must have." I smile before I hug Jason. We sit down right as Cassidy walks in.

"Tyler got surrounded by teenage girls and their moms." She laughs as she sits down next to me.

"Love that for him." I say and a few minutes later he walks in. I knew I still had feelings for him, but we were both moving on so I guess it was officially over.

We have a good time at dinner before we all go back to Tyler's house.

"You know what we should do?" Cassidy asks as we walk inside. The dogs immediately greet us and I kiss Marshall's head.

"What?" I raise an eyebrow

"Black Friday shopping!" Cadyn finishes and Cassidy nods quickly

"Sounds good to me." I smile

"Alright, let's go then. The malls open in like an hour." Cassidy says

"We're going shopping." I tell the guys as they were all playing video games

"Great. Have fun. Don't get kidnapped." Jamie says

"We won't!" Cadyn smiles before we leave. We get into the Jeep and go to the mall.
