Chapter 5

Susannah's POV

I woke up in an unknown bed in an unknown room. I sat up and I felt my head pounding.

I then realized I was in Tyler's room by the jerseys on the wall. I was still wearing clothes so we must have not had sex.

"Hey. You alright?" He asks as he comes in wearing a towel around his waist just had taken a shower.

"What happened?" I ask confused

"Your date almost raped you." He tells me slowly before handing me some advil and a cup of water, "You didn't want Jamie or Jordie to get you, so I came and got you."

"Thank you." I mumble as I take it.

"Of course." He smiles

"Put on some clothes." I laugh at him and he nods. He grabs his clothes and changes in his bathroom.

"Alright. Let's take you to your house." He says as he comes out wearing his usual outfit.

"Okay." I nod and he hugs me tightly.

"You know how much I care for you right?" He asks

"I know. That's probably why I wanted you last night." I say and he nods. I kiss him softly and he smiles as we make out for a few minutes in his room before there's a knock on the door. I pull apart quickly and I sit on the bed as his mom comes in.

"Cassidy just told me what happened. Do you need anything?" Jackie asks me and I shake my head no.

"Thank you. I just want to go home." I say and she hugs me tightly.

"Ty will take you home." She nods and I smile weakly. We go out to the car and I get in. He pulls out of the driveway and takes me to my house. We sit in the driveway for a moment.

"I'll see you tonight for the flight." He finally breaks the silence.

"Yeah." I nod as I rub my arm.

"If you want to talk tonight, I'll text you my room number." He says

"Thank you." I lean across and kiss his cheek before I go in. I run up to my room and take a long hot shower just thinking. I put on some comfortable clothes for the flight. I sat on my bed for a while before I went downstairs. My mom hugged me tightly and Jamie laughs

"Mom you know you don't have to lose her for a few more months." He explains. She didn't know what happened.

"I know. She's just my little baby." She laughs weakly, "I'm officially an empty nester soon."

"Mom." Jordie groans

"I already have a granddaughter. I'm losing my mind." She mumbles and we all nod laughing.

We eat lunch before we go to the airport. Cassidy and I sit together and Jordie at the end.

I put my head on her shoulder as we go on the flight.

We get to Boston and the parents decide to go out for a night.

"Alright. You two will be fine with us." Jamie laughs at Cassidy and I.

"We're just going to have a girls' night. Order some food." I mumble

"Okay. We were just going to the gym and then going out to dinner." Tyler offers.

"Alright. Maybe gym." Cassidy and I agree. We go up to our room and put on some work out gear. Cassidy has always been significantly skinnier than I had. So she was wearing a cute pair of shorts and a sports bra. I on the other hand was wearing a loose tank top and leggings. We went to the Bruins' work out facility with the rest of the Stars. We ran on the treadmill together for a while before Tyler convinced us to try to deadlift.
