"Barrack ordered his soldiers to gun me down, which they did and I died. I don't understand how I'm alive but I do know one thing. I came back. Like I promised." Damien said, his torn shirt in his right hand.

"Oh my.." Matthew muttered.

Taylor was speechless but she shook her head, determined not to have this be on her. "T-that's not an excuse.. What do you want me to do? Love you after all these years. Leave Matthew who I've found love for while you were gone?"

This only angered him even more. "I don't give a shit what you do, be happy with him. At least I know how to keep my fucking promises. And let me ask you this, if you were in my shoes, would you react the same?"

Taylor went quiet and Matthew shifted slightly.

Damien sighed, pushing his anger aside for a moment. "Can I at least have one last hug?"

"J-just go..." Taylor said quietly, turning away.

Damien's hurt ached and he stepped forward. Matthew stepped in his path.

"Dude, just go. She clearly loves me now. There's nothing for you here. You took too long. It's over. Leave her alone, she's mine."

"She's mine" "She's mine" "She's mine" "She's mine" "She's mine"

Damien lost it.
