A New Friendship

During lunch time, Fluttershy had invited Twilight to sit with her and her friends.

Twilight: "I...I'm not sure if this is a good idea". "What if they don't like me"?

Fluttershy: "Relax Twilight, I'm sure that they'll love you".

Twilight: "Okay...if you say so Fluttershy".

Soon they reached the table where Leo, Slash, and Rainbow Dash were sitting at.

Fluttershy: "Hi guys"

Slash: "Hi Flutters"

Fluttershy: *blushes at the nickname* "I want introduce you to a new friend of mine".

Twilight: "Hi, my name is Twilight Sparkle". "But you can just call me Twilight".

Rainbow Dash: "Hey Twilight, I'm Rainbow Dash" 'She seems nice'

Slash: "I'm Slash"

Leo: "And I'm Leonardo, but you can just call me Leo".

Twilight: *shocked* "Wait...YOU'RE FLUTTERSHY'S BROTHER"!

Leo: "I'm guessing you're shocked by the fact that I'm a mutant huh".

Twilight: "A little"

Slash: "So you're the transfer student from Crystal Prep".

Twilight: "Yes......I am"

Twilight couldn't help but tear up a little as painful memories of her time at her old school came back to her.
Everyone noticed this and instantly got worried.

Leo: "Twilight why are you crying"? "Was it something we said"?

Twilight: *wipes away tears* "No no its not you....it's just.....painful memories".

Rainbow Dash: "Was it really that bad at Crystal Prep"?

Twilight: "You have no idea"

Twilight told the group of friends about how she was always treated as an outcast at her old school. Everyone was completely shocked by her story.

Fluttershy: *gasp* "Oh my goodness, I'm really sorry that happened to you".

Twilight: *tearing up* "Its ok Fluttershy"

Rainbow Dash: "If I ever see those guys here, I'm gonna give them a piece of my mind".

Twilight: "Thanks guys...that really means a lot to me".

Slash: "That's what friends are for".

Twilight smiled at the fact that she now has new friends. For the first time in a long time, she felt like things were getting better for her.

A few minutes have passed and Twilight was getting to know her new friends.

Twilight: "I can't believe you like Space Heroes, that's been my favorite show since I was little".

Leo: "I know right, I even memorized some of the lines". "Gentleman, I have bold and daring plan".

Twilight: "There's no time for hesitation".

Both: "My orders must be carried out without questions". *laughs*

Rainbow Dash: *groans* "What exactly is so special about this show anyway"?

Fluttershy: "You won't know why unless you watch it yourself".

Rainbow Dash: "Wait...Fluttershy are you saying that you've seen this show before"?

Fluttershy: "I watch it with Leo on the weekends".

Slash: "I've seen it before, but I don't really watch it that much".

Rainbow Dash: "I honestly don't know any of you anymore".

All: *laughs*

This was the sign that Twilight needed to know that her life was changing for the better. But what she didn't know, was that there will be some that will do whatever it takes to make her suffer through the pain she has felt for too long.

???: "So....the loser actually made some friends". "Well I'm not going to allow that four-eyed freak to have any happiness in her life". "Its time that me and my friends put her in her place".

With that said, the mysterious person walked away. But unfortunately for them, Sunset heard the entire thing.

Sunset: 'That doesn't sound good, I better tell the others about this when I get the chance'.
