Dec: "You will? For a roommate?"

Ant: "No....I will.......for a good friend...... "

Ant was at once shocked by his own admission and wondered whether he has said the right thing or not. Then he looks at Dec and his heart warms to see a bright grin on Dec's face

Dec: "You called me your friend!!!!!"

Ant: "Yeah, I did"

Dec: "You mean that?"

Ant frowns "Why won't I?"

Dec: "I don't know... because you are...you?"

Ant rolls his eyes at that and Dec smiles

Dec: "You know you have changed?"

Ant frowns at him "Why is everyone saying that?! Even you?"

Dec nods at him "Remember what you asked me the first day I came in? Don't touch my stuff... don't talk to me..."

Ant: "Congratulations. You did a good job keeping it. I know... I didn't plan this did I? This is all new to me"

Dec: "So you trust me?"

Ant: "You still have to ask me that? I do. And...I meant it that day. You make me happy and you are a good company. And you being you..might need a bodyguard everytime with you. I know you wanted us to be friends but... you know how I am and-"

Dec: "I do... but I will be your friend only on one condition"

Ant: "What?"

Dec: "Free cuddles?"

Ant sighs "You ask too much. But I think that's a given. You practically slept on me , hours ago"

Dec: "Do you mind? I know I am so needy at times" Dec says awkwardly

Ant: "I don't mind. As I said...there is something different about you. I...I want to be your friend, Declan. I want us to be friends"

Dec nods enthusiastically "Me too. Anything for your cuddles"

Ant smiles : "Are my cuddles so good?"

Dec: "Aren't they?!!! They make me feel safe. You make me feel safe. You remember the first time we hugged? After those boys tried to .... and then I saw you and I hugged you and you held me close... I felt... just...safe..."

Ant's heart warmed at that but he was too proud to show it "What did they give you? You must be out of your mind to say that"

Dec: "Dunno what they gave. I feel funny though. But I am serious. Your hugs are so good.... like you"

Ant: "Like me?"

Dec: "You are a nice lad. The nicest I have met. And you are handsome too"

Ant shakes his head at that He is definitely high on something

Dec: "You are a great guy... inside and out...kind and cute... Anybody will be honoured to be your friend"

Heat creeps up to Ant's face and he suppresses a smile that was tugging his lips. Dec's eyes widen at that: "Are you blushing?"

Ant shakes his head "Nope"
